I think its because the artist in Korea work so hard and years before they debut and its about the artist,the sing and dancing. Alot of American music is more about how much a girl is showing that afew artist can shine through. Most female and male artist hardly stand together always respectful on and off stage. Here were all about the money and who's with who. Also Kai and the girl from blackpink came from 2 different companies. She's lucky she didn't get fired because her group is only a few years old. While Exo has been around 1or2 years older than Bts maybe longer while I like exo i don't know much about them. Only a few of the members but Kai specially because he's good friend with Taemin.
