This stage normally moves as slow as you see it at the beginning, but for each circular black and white enemy you touch, it increases the speed of the autoscroll (the diamond shaped version of the enemy just fires projectiles at you). This is the route that I think has the most speed ups (13). 5:00 took so many tries to do without dying
