Thank you pastor. I've been reading exodus this month and when I read these things it's hard to not let my heart be hardened like Pharoah but it's teachings like these that remind me of God's greatness and mercy.
It's not the first time God almost destroyed His creation for their wickedness. Then Noah found grace in the eyes of God. Oh my goodness me, but don't we think were somebody ? Watch your step !!! LOL Thank you for all your wonderful posts Pastor Guzik, Happy new year to you and your family.
This is a staggering section of text. That the people could still see the fire upon Mount Sinai and despite this continue to fashion a false golden calf idol is simply baffling. Only a few verses before they were literally trembling in fear of the Lord at the same spot. This is hard to comprehend.
