If I'm honest, I enjoy sex even more after having it, sometimes for years. For me, sex has never done anything but make my life better. I don't know if this makes me a terrible person but it's my experience of life.

@@blankblank8292 I asked multiple times to God, tried to overcome my sins by myself as well and God never helped me. God gave me a very hard life as well and overcome those sins is quite impossible because they are part of a mechanism of my life . But still no help at all from God.

However, Civil War monuments don't necessarily have to be destroyed but put in a museum as a reminder of the darkness and sin of slavery that brought death, destruction, bondage and humiliation to so many. I too had a bad relationship with drink, drugs and party lifestyle that eventually broke me spiritually, emotionally to where one night in my flat looking at a bottle of vodka that i couldn't drink even though i wanted to be drunk, i put the cap back on the bottle put it in my press thinking I'll no doubt drink it another night but i only wanted to get drunk because i wasn't happy so out of a place of agnosticism, atheism i prayed the following prayer "God if you are real then come into my life and change it" that was back in April 2019 and I'm now a catholic, I'm so catholic now that some people avoid me but i get it, I'd have ran from religious people too back in the day. Remember Gods word in the bible that he stands at the door of our hearts and knocks, we have freewill, he won't impose himself on us but once you give him free will to enter your heart and life then be prepared to have your life change for the better. Happiness is in God and with God, superficial happiness is in the things of the world that dont sustain. Hell was made for the devil and his angels you should watch billy garham give your life to Jesus we are in the last days and Jesus loves you and he shedded blood on that cross without the shedding of blood sin cannot be forgiven and sin is very serious in the eyes of god I was depressed to and sinned for fun I had suicidal thoughts I remember in my room one night I told god that of things don't change I'm gonna kms I was sorry weak and at sometimes so weak I felt like I was dying then I remember a really good day came a day I loved so much and wanted more of so on that same day I remember saying god, I'm just gonna trust you and when you try to do something right the devil attacks you so the next day was horrible I don't wanna say how it was it was just horrible! I stayed strong BC after so long of trying to go to anything else but god they all failed me so I held on to god as the reason let me skip to now and say I started off faithless now I'm so faithful in god I started off worried for my future now I know its something gods gonna handle I'm not feeling depressed anymore the whole year of 2022 was hard but with god I made it threw! Now I learned so much and love my relationship with god I know he loves and cares for me AND HE LOVES AND CARES FOR YOU TOO! True but I'm a woman who struggled with lifelong battle with lust. Many women also struggle just to let you know. I battled porn not an addiction but a habit. Human beings struggle with concupiscence also known as lust. Some argue that women are the more lusty sensual gender. But yes we women should dress modestly out of charity for our brothers in Christ. I got deliverence. I had no desire to masturbate fornicate.

Even if God removes the lust, which he does when I feel him trying to get close to me, i'm still stuck with the unresolved trauma and wounds of the past, and all the massive consequences those have had on my choices, my personality, how I relate to others and to God, whom I see as the ultimate author of my misery, as he created me, and knit me, not wonderfully, but in a way that would maximize adversity, rejection, fear, rejection, inferiority, anxiety and minimize joy, success, happiness etc. Sex is how I dealt with the bleakness of the life God had in mind for me. Everything I ever experienced was all willed by God, either expressly or permissively. Lots could ahve been *easily* prevented, lots could have been *easily* redeemed, God could *easily* heal me integrally, but God was/is busy doing something else. It would feel weird to be at long last happy and at peace in life. That would feel amazingly freeing to defeat God's ab aeterno plan of misery, lack and shame for me.
