I was going to buy the nano but I heard a reviewer saying they're not suitable to be worn with boots. So now, I'm confused..Anyway, I planning to wear them for walking on icy pavement..
Confused between the EXO vs NANO, which one is more versatile? I want something that can handle walking and hiking (not much running) but for a mix of dry pavement, packed snow/ice and mud/dirt. It's the dry pavement I'm most concerned about since I'm sure none of these products are really designed for that, but I want to wear them daily on walks in case there are icy patches even when it's mostly clear.
@@justonemori Thanks! The MEC guide says the Nano's are good for day hiking and backpacking (and casual wear and road running) so they seemed the most versatile but I'm thinking the EXO might be or at least the commenter below seems to indicate that.
Daily walks in urban areas with intermittent ice the nano would be very good; going into more trail, or majority ice/snow conditions I sure like the EXO’s.
I’ve sure been pleased with the pair I got this winter! Whether walking in an urban area, ice fishing or hiking on trails they’ve been awesome. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mnykFvPRjpI.html
Nice! So you found the EXO ones to be good for pavement and hiking trails then, whether dry or packed ice/snow or mud/dirt? I'm looking for which is most versatile between EXO vs NANO so it sounds like you're giving a thumbs up for the EXO - yeah?
@@JS-mq6ve I’d say go with the EXO if conditions or moreover icy, trail, and back country but if one is just walking between asphalt, concrete and icy patches then the Nano may be more suitable.
