The Chinese Python Snake Bean is an absolute must grow for 2022 and on! This plant can essentially replace green beans for us; It tastes very similar, trellises upward, doesn't stop producing in the heat like pole beans, it doesn't take up as much ground space as bush beans, and absolutely THRIVES in the heat with no noticeable pests as of this year.
It's incredibly easy to grow and VERY prolific; as long as you soak the seeds for 24 hours before planting, direct sow them, and have a little patience as you wait for the vines to grow and spread, you'll find that this plant is nearly effortless! You'll want to redirect vines here and there, just to guide them gently up the trellis. Super easy! In the future (fall/winter, when mature gourds dry!), I'll document seed saving. Stay tuned!
