I live in Monterey, Big Sur being in my backyard. It is not what you think it’ll be. You cannot go into any of the beaches in Big Sur, it’s dangerous and illegal. And that little tropical piece isn’t as tropical looking as video editing makes it out to be you can also only take a photo of it from a distance you can’t actually go see or touch the waterfall. This is because tourism here is insane and has caused the cities to close off a lot of things to preserve it. The most you’ll do here is sight see and eat really expensive food that would probably taste better homemade. Just letting you all know, as a local.
What are you talking about? Julia Pfeiffer Burns Beach is gorgeous and accessible. Additionally, there are dozens of hiking trails and places to spend your time and enjoy the coast. I was there in May for 3 days and had an amazing time.
Wow I've been to more of these than I ever thought joshua, great sand dunes, big sur, santa fe, Kauai...5/10 for not being very well traveled. I guess i pick the right places when i do travel... Quality over quantity!

Lol the later pics they showed of Key West was NOT key West😂 it was Miami or another part of Fl most likely, surprisingly Key West does not have beaches like that lol! Every body thinks it does though bc of videos like this. Your best bet is to go to a west coast beach in FL, like Clearwater, St. Pete, Sarasota, Brandenton or Sanibel (they all have beautiful beaches! Just went to PR awesome prices right now. My sister, niece, son and myself paid 1400.00 for six days. We split that in half and it cost both adults 700 a piece round trip airfare and 6 day Airbnb. The best 700 I ever spent. Go for it!!!!

Basically anything on the westside of FL (Gulfside ), and you'll get the sunset views on this side, whereas you cant get that on the East coast of Fl like Miami and Daytona, sand tends to be whiter on this west side too.

I'm from New Mexico and some of the shots they used in the video aren't even Santa Fe...it's old Town Albuquerque... and trust me Santa Fe or New Mexico in general aren't a place to come visit🤣🤣🤣 DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY COMING HERE.
This video was interesting but it must be noted that the term "American" is used in the video to mean something similar to "civilized" or "western," and it's kinda problematic. Like, just because some of Santa Fe's buildings is inspired by Pueblo architecture it feels like it's not even America? Or because Kauai is "less developed" than Hawaii it feels like another country altogether? Yikes. Way to rely on a Eurocentric worldview to promote a "travel" video.
