@@swiftlessons Great...Keep up the good work...i have been struggling learning things myself all these ages though i play lead rhythm and bass now but now I found a more correct way of doing things. Thank you
This is the most important lesson to know my guitar within 26 minutes! Nah, I need a minimum of 26 days! Thank you for sharing your knowledge in an understandable way.
Thank you my guitar teacher, one of the best lessons I have seen.Every time I heard a 13 chord i felt like I was going to drop my guitar and run from it haha Lord have mercy..
The exact thing I was looking for. I was looking to expand my chord vocabulary and having a theory explanation accommodated with the video really made this lesson set aside from others.
One of the most useful guitar lessons on RU-vid. Thanks for calling out the intervals, and providing the fretboard diagrams of each chord. I review this lesson frequently until I can build each chord without any help. Great teaching style!
What you teach is so timely, well organized, important and useful and how you teach it is so informative and enjoyable that you are my favorite presenter. Kudos and thanks.
Rob, thank you for doing this lesson for us! Much appreciated. By the way, did you ever put together a CD (or whatever) of some the songs you sing?? You have a fantastic voice that I think should be heard by everyone. It should be on the radio and even in a movie. If you haven't done it already, you should float one of your songs to an agency (agency?), or movie entity. Just saying....
If I keep the same shapes, but start at a different note, will the chord translate to the appropriate starting point? For example, if I make all the shapes shown in this video but my root note is a B, will they all follow the same chord names but in the key of B?
Yes, all of these shapes can be transposed simply by moving them to a different fret. The chord type (major, minor, dom7, min7 etc.) will stay the same, and the key of the chord will be determined by the name of the root note.
Hi! Thank you for getting back to me so quickly! You are great for sharing this video and providing all your knowledge. I appreciate you! I’m giving you a like and subscribe!
Maybe i went through this too fast but why is the chordshape Amaj7 two times in there? It seems nearly the Same chord? Would be Great if someone could help me out :)
