Expeditions: A MudRunner Game - 13 Things You ABSOLUTELY Need To Know Before You Buy 

Got heavy into snowrunner last year. This is my most anticipated game of the year.

I'm excited for this. I played a little bit of Snowrunner and while I liked driving around the map the delivery aspect felt overwhelming to me. I'm glad this game is mainly focusing on exploration.

Ive personally got a Jeep thats built out to do expedition style offroading (overlanding) and i loved the physics of Snowrunner so this game gives me the opportunity to do everything i wanted to do in Snowrunner

Never played a mudrunner game before, but these garnered my attention because it was more focused on the exploration and not so much hauling goods. I really like what I've played so far.

I always loved the methodical approach in this game franchise.

I have to say , as someone that used to love 4x4 off road games with jeeps etc , when i tried snowrunner was like my dream of a game came to life , no joke , i dont even do the hauling stuff the game want you to do , i just pick my jeep and go out and explore the maps lol , im glad they making the exploration aspect a priority 🙂

I was unsure about the game cause my only experience with the series was like 30 minutes I spent in snow runner one time, definitely getting this after watching

Is there weather and also by npc's do you mean the garage or actually physicall people

Does it allow you to use vehicles from previous games? So for example I would like use the Rezvani Hercules in Snowrunner but will it allow me to carry over that DLC vehicle?

Still no HDR support? The previous xbox and Sony generation had auto hdr but once they launched next gen update all hdr support was taken away. Snowrunner still looks great with sdr, but hdr support would be nice for a next gen game release.

There are a few dev teams i am obligated to support without excuse: FromSoftware and Saber. These teams aren't trying make a cod copy, but are true to heart in crafting wonderful and orginal content. Snowrunner is the Dark Souls of trucking. Very nice to have a relaxing companion next to snowrunner, all about expedition.

Please tell me this isn't just scouts roaming around. I used Pacific p16 and 12 for scouting purposes in Snowrunner

This is like a kid between the two games. Snowrunner graphics and arcade type feel, but the trucks seem to have more physics like Mudrunner

Does expeditions have a day night cycle?

As a player of both Mudrunner and SnowRunner, having invested nearly 4,000 hour's in both games. Though I'll purchase it day one, I won't play until my favorite modder's does what he does in providing various modded truck and such.

Snowrunner already had exploration in it... this one feels empty?

Are there villages, farms and gas stations?

For those of us who play Spintires - MudRunner - SnowRunner.....lets hope they bring features of SPINTIRES to this game

Didnt like the graphics in mudrunner but purchased everything available in snowrunner, no mods and have about 3 to 400 hours into it. I enjoy big trucks big cargo. Im on the fence with this one. Make a snowrunner 2!

I'm terrible at the delivering aspect of mudrunner/snowrunner but I absolutely love just driving around for hours, so this looks like it'll be great for people like me that love the idea of the games but suck at them 😂

2060 and 6800xt its a huge diff !...

I think you got one fact wrong you don't have to pay for repare... at least not literary... their is spare part every where for free and the garage and camp got some for free... Shure you can buy some put that would be stupid it cut your profit margin for no reason. At worst take a specialist that boost the quantity you can collect at camp or put some armor on your truck to reduce damage. The freeroam lock make sense because most bonus you get from those early quest are exploration and find new point of interest... if you could freeroam first you could not get all those bonus credit... trust me you will need those.

3 massive maps? are you sure? Define massive... and who ever plays Snowrunner, dont expect something more, but less

I had to pre-order because I'm excited for the exploration focus. I've had the entire series from pretty early on, I started in Spintires when that was the original devs before Saber got hold of them. Spintires survived a while into probably early Snowrunner but died to Snowrunnwr officially. Kinda sad but at least Saber has actually done pretty good with the Mudrunner series so no doubt am I excited for where this one is headed

I hated scouting in snowrunner so not sure if i'd like this.

Sometimes I think devs just slap on minimum/recommended PC specs their game require, without actually knowing what each part is capable of. For the recomended, a nVida 2060 or a AMD RX 6800 XT?? Really?! The 6800 XT is much more powerful than a 2060, on par with the 4070, actually. So they saying the game is only optimised for nVidia?

what I would love for this game is to, not get to stuk up with the "mudrunner" part, would love some offroad snowrunning or something else like swamps and such and would get this one game to have alot more variety, odds of them doing this is probs close to 0 but would still be great

Death Stranding Car DLC.

96 hours = 4 days (March 1st Friday) So freeroam... i can't just head out and look around ? Wow.... between the no co-op right away and no freeroam till mission(s) are finished Don't know about you but thats almost a dealbreaker for me ! I know they were have problems with Snowrunner MP but it seams ok now.... if thats the reason fine. Freeroam is a big one if you are forced into finishing mission's before you can roam..... thats not good ! Also we need co-op / MP ... ASAP ! ! !

why the vehicles gotta look so cartooney? that was the best bit about the original Mudrunner was the vehicle realism.

Snowrunner still crashes a lot on series x, and means you lose tons of progress. How long has that game been out? Yet they don't want to fix that just churn out another broken game. No thanks

Realistic physics is beam ng not this game Roll down a mountain and a bumper is bent lol smh. Plus are your stuck driving these vehicles in this game or Is there a mod hub

This game is horrible!!! If your really trying to make it as real as possible. The developer's really need to get out of their office and get some real mud time. All vehicles get stuck with the smallest tree branch. It's unbelievable!! Plus, the game keeps crashing down and freezing. This game is a waste of time and money!!! Even with all the upgrades, the vehicles get stuck and sink in the ground. I've never seen or heard of a vehicle sink into rock..... DONT BUY THIS GAME....

No weather effects (rain/snow there is nothing but sunny days). Sunsets and sunrises barely happen, its just night all of a sudden. No pink fiery skies in evening, no light cool blue skies in morning. Maps are utterly empty and game design forces you back into MAIN MENU (immersion breaking) before you can complete any task, there is NO freedom in this game. Trucks are all copy and pasted from SR (literally 2 new models). Missions structure is weak and restrictive. Mini games are pointless filler for children. Truck skins are all LGBTQ color coded. Only free sticker for your trucs is "emotional support" sticker with a cute little teddy bear (yes, in a game series primarily made for straight older men). The fuel usage is ridiculous and malicious in its design (they WANT you to end up soft locked to force you into the store to spend real world money so they made saving out-of-gas trucks nearly impossible). Even launching into FREE ROAM costs thousands of dollars to deploy, all intentional to force you into running out of money, so its either 'lose 50+hrs of progress, or BUY new trucks/upgrades with real world money to continue.) Environmental graphics are a joke compared to SR, even the MUD lost its pretty texture and now all mud looks like dull lifeless sand. There is no wind, environments/foliage are static and boring to look at. I am about 45 hours into the game and I am struggling to coninue playing it. I have over 2000 hrs in Snowrunner with DLCs. I will put expiditions down as soon as I finish the base campaign with no intention of buying a single DLC for it. Saber got greedy, and created a scummy cash grab that the vast majority of SR fans will hate. My personal opinion? Do NOT buy this game unless it's maybe $15-$20, because that amount fits the actual content the game provides the player. I won't be buying Saber's next game due to this blatant greed-show of a title. Expiditions- I do NOT recommend it. They probably saved MILLIONS of dollars in development costs just by CHEAPING out on the environmental graphics alone, let alone apl the other blatant downgrades from its predecessor. SNOWRUNNER - 9.5/10 EXPIDITIONS- 4/10 So, great work team! You lost millions of customers with this title. What a great idea. Someone at Saber needs to be FIRED.

This should have used places people actually want to go. I wouldn't go to Arizona or Colorado and real life. 😂 They should have made it in Florida and that would make the game really sucked
