this is less of an alternate build and more of an experiment...I wanted to make a proper gunship using only the new 501st BattlePack set. How did I do?
This is actually insane! Personally I wouldn’t build it because I done have a lot of those sets and I kind of want to take a break from alt builds because of the At ot
You could also just get him to post it in his bricklink gallery, and make a wish list to buy the parts on their own, much cheaper than 80 battle packs haha
This is definitely an insane experiment in terms of alternate builds, however I am curious how many battle packs you would need for the next most used part besides the 2x6 plate (which you could buy separately).
The last one you only needed 4 this time you need 80… that’s insane. Love the work you put into to it. And to answer your question, I would definitely build this.
Wow mate! This is insane! You should call this the Low Altitude Armored Troop Gunship, or LAATG. I tried to think of a good name. I’ll keep thinking of one. But amazing build mate! Heck yeah build one of these with bricks!
There's GOT to be a set that includes multiples of that one piece, if that's the only restriction making it require 80 sets. This kind of video is awesome, would be cool to see "budget" versions of this with reduced detail, or higher end ones w more detail, etc
I’d just order the amount of parts on bricklink if you don’t mind missing the Minifigures. Otherwise I think it would be way too expensive and too much spare parts.
I've been adding packs together to make larger guns, I've done 2 sets and 4 sets next I'm gonna see what I can do with 8 sets. I also want to try and make a walker and speeder with 3 sets
Guys, first of all, I'm the 69th comment. Secondly, the instructions are RIGHT THERE we can just make this now! No need to wait until they're publically digitized! Let's get started as a community and collectively buy 80 battlepacks so we can make *ONE* gunship!
can you post the bricklink file somewhere? id like to mess around with the large amount of extra parts and see what else could be made! maybe a tank or canon.
I know its probably alot of work doing something like this, but it would kinda cool doing videos like this using a stupid and expensive number of sets, say like 15-20 AT-TEs or something!
@@bricoleurbricks alternatively maybe just make another video or 2 making other builds with the spare parts? youve still got a lot of pieces left, could make a few walkers or something. rule would be no more 2x6 though
Honestly I couldn’t think of anything else to do with 80 battle packs other than sell/ give them away! There’s no need to have that many; even more than 10 feels a little excessive
Please do it, I have to see it. I’d make this, unless someone made an instructions for a mini fig accurate scale AV-7 Antivehicle Cannon that the battle pack’s cannon is based on
Wow this is insane. As much as this would be great to see in real life, definitely wouldn’t do it due to its cost. But great design from the computer program nonetheless.
I'd like to see instructions, but instead of only 75345, find the cheapest 501st related way to do it. Ex:, how many battlepacks could be replaced with parts from a single Rex's microfighter? How about if you used parts from the 3-in-one that includes this battlepack? A single Tantive IV hallway?
Wow 🤩 pls build it in real life and if you make a side Build i aktualy think about rebuild it because you can buy a lot of the battlepacks without figures and that doesn't cost much 👍 so pls think about making instructions 😄
Bro I already bought three so if you make the alternate build I am probably going to buy like three more every other weekend and the battle packs probably not gonna retire until at least 2024 2025 so build it please
