This truly makes me feel ill.. the fact that everyone is struggling to stay alive from the lack of food, he’s there breaking his ankles from the amount of food he’s eating!
Who says that the people wouldn't still suffer, and the only difference would be that they had better weapons? Kim Jong Un can end his military tests whenever he wants, and that would probably already help a lot and make everyone lower or remove the sanctions. Threatening the rest of the world with nukes and taking the money he has to himself letting his own people starve does not mean that the sanctions are the problem. It just means that he is crazy.

How a human being can be so cruel is beyond me. His people are starving and suffering, while he looks like he’s never missed a meal in his life. While North Korea’s economy is dying, Kim Jong-Un is spending millions on instruments and palaces. It’s terrible.
I know this is old but , every single leader in the world does the same exact thing. People starve and die in every country while all of our leaders are out getting ice cream and buying cars and watches. Name one who doesn't....just one.

The part that I hated the most was that he had a way to solve the issue of starvation for most of the people in North Korea. Rabbits happen to be the easiest to breed and since they are able to breed quickly can solve the issue of a lack of meat for a starving population quickly. If he managed to teach his people how to farm and breed the rabbits from the German rabbit breeder. He could have resolved the issue of meat quickly. Kim instead had them all cooked for a single banquet.

It really is no different than any other country, look at the U.S, a quarter of the population is homeless living on the streets, another quarter of the population is at the poverty level of living. But lets focus on what every other country is doing and not worry about our own peoples.....right?

and how is that different than anywhere else in the world? Even in the US we have this problem. We have people living on the streets living in squalor while at the same time we send emergency aid to every other country in the world while doing nothing to help our own citizens.

There is a large disparity between rich and poor everywhere in the world, but unfortunately the poor suckers in NK have it as worse as you can get. If you are jobless in NK, you get punished by the regime. Hell, they can't even complain about it on the internet..... because no one in NK has access to the internet.... as well as clean water, 24 hour electricity and other things. The average NK makes 1300 dollars a year and it doesn't matter if you are a doctor, you get paid fuck all and have no rights to do anything about it. Go to Yeonmi Parks youtube channel and listen to some of her stories. They are crazy!
How he gets around the embargo on luxury goods is, he has staff at the various embassies around the world to purchase the goods and ship them back in Diplomatic "pouches" read 40' shipping containers that due to international law can't be inspected. The country also runs Korean restaurants in several countries including staffing and management.
N Korea prints better counterfeit US dollars than US. SO all the expensive stuff in this video is actually free! Too bad he didn't import food and modern medicine for the starving population, especially children and elderly.

The things is a lot of people poor because they don’t know anything about money. Even if you give someone who’s poor a million they’ll still go broke they don’t have any money management. Education is the cure to poverty

Which is to say, not well. People are poor because even with an education, people aren’t making enough to even live off of. I have an English major, and I’ve never even used it. I went to college for nothing. Because no one cares about your degree anymore. A degree earning 60,000 is now earning 35,000 a year. It doesn’t add up and it doesn’t balance out.

I live in a crappy row home in a really bad neighborhood that’s about 1500 square feet of living space with a postage stamp yard. I drive a 2019 Chevy Spark (they’re great on gas) and I got my piano for $100 on Craigslist. It’s an ugly blonde wood veneer that has a huge chunk missing on one side, some of the keys are chipped and it’s missing the music stand but it works and it sounds okay. The most expensive piece of jewelry I own is a bracelet from Tiffany’s my husband bought me with some of his inheritance after his parents passed away. But otherwise we spend all our money on bills. We can rarely afford anything even remotely lavish. We’ve never even had a honeymoon (we’ve been married over 24 years) and our last “vacation” was when we drive with my in-laws to FL to see my brother-in-law get married the first time. That was in 1998… And I live in the US, “land of opportunity”! This fat joker is spending worse than our government on such ridiculous, meaningless things while his people live in squalor and are starving! He makes me sick… The only good thing is that you know he’s eventually going to run his country right into the ground and maybe that will be the end of the Kim dynasty for good and those poor people can finally get a fair shake.
