Heinz is the only ketchup I'll use. Hunts, French's, and any generic just won't do. I can also do a blind taste test and know the difference. 😊

That's true. I will immediately tell you where certain water comes from. I can distinguish between Ketchup, chocolate (not a chocolate lover), meat, corn flour and cereal.

The wallet was probably done at the same place as the real ones, but discarded due to the mistakes before the engraving and such. Many of those end up being sold as fakes.

You're missing the point - it's a "proof of concept" item. Should it be possible to 'vat grow' an acceptable 'meat' protein, that will have many, many benefits. It does remind my of an old S-F short story where they tried different protein bases and the most popular was 'human'. I think it started off with introducing the word "canivore" to a future vegetarian population, and ended up with the word "cannibal".

This is literally my job! I work at a thrift store and every day I have to price things based on different qualities like material, stitch-work and the possibility of the item being vintage and/or high-end. I want to try a challenge like this sooo bad! I like to think I'd be really good😅😆

I was perfectly happy with Hershey chocolate or any chocolate from the United States until my uncle came back from Europe with Belgian chocolate. I have never been the same. I came to realize how overly sweet U.S. chocolate is. I love the slightly bitter "bite" of European chocolates! So much more pure tasting. Turned me into a chocolate snob LMAO

funny thing, the water challenge was actually both tap water. it just so happens that Voss is tap water from Norway, and it actually has a ph Balance of a 6. So it is actually probably more acidic than the trash LA water.

I am so at a loss when it comes to wigs or shoes. Even as far as guy fashion. I see no need to spend thousands of dollars on a pair of shoes or sneakers. The most I've ever spent on footwear was $200 for a pair of Timberland work boots. Dress shoes and sneakers? $50 tops.

My only personal experience with tampons is that they're great for stopping nosebleeds LMAO I have gone to the store to pick them up for my ex wife and subsequent girlfriends and for my daughters when they lived at home. But even then, I only picked up what they told me to. Exact name and description. I never understood why so many guys are embarrassed to make that purchase.

I live in Sweden, every year we have a contest about which city/town has the best tap water. In Sweden the market for bottled water is super small.. our tap water is so good that there isn’t a need to buy bottled water.

I know the US has a deal with France to call their sparling wine Champagne as long as it is not exported from the country.

There is a loophole where US winemakers can call shit Champagne, but that is not in any agreement with France. Basically its BS. It ain't Champagne unless it is from the Champagne region of France. That is because the process of making it has layers of very specific legislation on things that must be done. E.g. riddling is all by hand.

They need to remember that if it’s not real meat it’s going to be more expensive bc of how it’s made. I knew it wasn’t real by looking at it. My first thought was a meat substitute or veggie burger. I’m curious if that was even for sale since it was an experiment from a university The old homestead is very good. Very upscale and pricey but the steaks are so good. I might get that burger next time we go.

I only knew the answer because I remember when the this started, I thought it was really cool since I was vegitarian and hadn't found a really good meatless option I liked yet. I've gone through practically every stage of meatless food bc it wasn't really a thing when I became vegitarian and IMOP I believe the impossible patty is a pretty close alternative and so far the best one I've personally tried.

8:16 I grew tomatoes a couple of years ago, it was the only plant I have grown in mass. I roasted tomatoes and made ketchup from a Bobby Flay recipe, it is amazing!
