Delicious food is everywhere in this region of the world, especially Pakistan.
In this video, I'll highlight just a few that simply blew my taste buds during my two week (short) journey across several places in Pakistan.
From hard to get local Chicken Biryani in the bustling city of Lahore to an off the beaten path of local family bread in the heart of the mountains in the Shimshal valley; in this short video you'll get a tiny glimpse of delicious Biryani, Karahi, Chai, Grilled Chicken Kabob and layered yogurt bread (simply amazing).

1 - Chicken Biryani at Waqas Biryani House (4.3 stars, 11000 reviews) - Lahore
2 - Local Bread at Shimshal Private Home (0 reviews, private home in the mountains) - Shimshal
3 - Grilled food at Heera Chargha (4.3 stars, 10000 reveiws) - Lahore
4 - Mutton Karahi at Butt Karahi Tikka (4.3 stars, 3000 reviews) - Lahore
5 - Chicken Karahi at Greenland Resort (0 reviews, not public restaurant) - Fairy Meadows
6 - Traditional Chai at Yakoo's Tea Cafe (4.3 stars, 1000 reviews) - Lahore
I also ate at many other places, from Fancy restaurant in Lahore and Islamabad to hole-in-the-wall places. However, these 6 i highlight in this video all had something unique that makes them stand out.
