Experience the Epic Journey of IRONMAN Italy 2023 - Full Race Weekend!
Putting together this video was an absolute blast. It all kicked off with my departure from Manchester, UK, bound for Bologna, Italy, on a Thursday. That day was a whirlwind of travel.
On Friday, I hit the ground running. I registered at the Ironman check-in, grabbed my race pack, did some shopping at the expo, got a second-hand suitcase from a friend, stocked up on food supplies, tested the waters with a swim, went for a practice bike ride, and capped it off with a relaxing yoga session.
Saturday was the big day, the Ironman full distance event. I spent the entire day spectating and lending a hand as a volunteer.
Sunday was my moment to shine, as I competed in the Ironman 70.3.
Come Monday, I boarded a flight back to the UK, marking the end of an action-packed long weekend.
