POV: you're the SuperSport Steadicam operator who's working on the first Test between the Springboks and All Blacks in front of a crazy atmosphere at the Mbombela Stadium.
You were in luck attending the best rugby union match-up and the right venue at the right time. And me too!! We waited 31 months for this game to arrive because of Covid.
Hope you enjoyed it! Also hoping you become a HUGE Springbok fan :D. Stay safe in SA, it's a beautiful country and my beloved country but it's still unfortunately very dangerous :( Safe travels and God bless!
The way the crowd sang "have you ever seen the rain" still has it stuck in my head...even though I listen to hip hop 90% of the time....what a phenomenal, electric atmosphere created by all those patriots who attended 🔥🙌🏽🔥🙌🏽🔥🙌🏽🔥
Thanks for posting this footage which best captures the sound and the feeling. The extreme compact bowl coupled with the roof that covers more seats than our other venues bumps the crowd roar to another level and was really intimidating to NZ. The roar was such that I couldn't hear the ref whistle or even the end siren. Best atmosphere and an amazingly motivated Mbombela crowd hungry for top rugby at home.
The Springboks have never lost a game at this venue. Now I see the reason why. The venue is small and intimate. The spectators sit very close to the action
Not much has been said about the quality of the pitch but it was one of the best I've seen.Shud ditch tests in Cape Town and play them here till CT catches a wake up. I wonder how many locals vs out of towners. Magnificent atmosphere etc etc
Please upload a video of the performance of both national anthems. I'm sure New Zealanders appreciated that rendition of their anthem, it was really well performed imo. Genuine vocal talent
All blacks coach : they sang the national anthem so passionatly and i felt that it was disrespectful a d that's why we refused to score a try until the end and win the game. I thank you
Sam Cane: "And the fans, and the stadium, so loud. We just, you know, didn't wanna support that kind of behavior from the South Africans. We decided to not partake in the game at all"
Still don't have my voice I was to drunk before the game started and there after party outside the Stadium was top notch things to there organising committee
Why wouldn't they just keep playing Impi untill they run out onto the field? They start with Impi then transition to another song that is so mellow and soft you can barely hear it over the crowd noise. It's like playing Thunderstruck by ACDC and then just before the team runs out onto the field you change over to a Taylor Swift song. Makes no sense whatsoever
Galatians 5 19Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, 21envy,d drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who doe such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Hebrews 10 26For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. 28Anyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. 29How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace? 30For we know him who said, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” And again, “The Lord will judge his people.” 31It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Well let's face it... based on your comment, our nation with 11 official languages is better at English as well. "... all they're got"? all they are got? Sheesh.
Another small little thing, parkrun is huge in Great Britain. IT ALL GOT STARTED IN SOUTH AFRICA and was a weekly thing there decades before a South African who missed home started up the concept in England!! Yeah, "All they're got!" Disrespectrul Moron.
@@MarioatSA He is butthurt the poor guy. Has been crying non stop all week long. I have a feeling he will be crying for years to come. That is if he does not jump of a bridge or start watching croquet first.
