We're finally back in Istora!! The Best Place on earth to play badminton! - Now that I unfortunately can't play, I have to take you to the legendary istora senayan to experience how badminton should be everywhere in the world! In a packed arena with passionate fans - absolutely amazing!
Indonesia Masters and Indonesia Open 2022 are being played in the Istora Senayan arena. Some call it the home of badminton!

The last time i was at istora senayan to watch Indonesia Open final at the tribune couple of years ago, I could feel some kind of mini earthquakes under my feet as the spectators enthusiastically cheered and clapped for the players ❤️

For those who don't know, Istora stands for 'Istana Olahraga' = Sport Palace

There would be a new multipurpose indoor arena at GBK area, built for FIBA World Cup 2023, the capacity of the new arena doubled the Istora. So maybe this year is the last time for world tour series to be held in Istora? It's sad if that really going to happened because Istora is such a Iconic arena for Badminton fans, but more fans more exicitement 🤯

Really love your play style Ander.which is why I watch your videos .I wanted to ask a question .what grip should you initially be in when opponent is about to hit the smash ,you know if it comes to body or backhand side you use backhand grip and on forehand side use forehand grip so what should be the initial grip before changing into backhand and forehand grip in singles offcorse

yes.. if the player cannot cope with Istora's crowd well they might just do the match in the city's public library, over there is quite we can guarantee. But not in istora not in a million years...
