Thanks for explaining in easy way due to the pandemic we unable to performed experiment but in which way that you explain is so easy thanks mam keep uploadeing such kind of informative practical vidio thanks mam❤️💯😇
Excuse me mam ..... Iam darshu from Karnataka.. iam studying 2nd sem of pharmacy , i have one doubt ... Can we use any other liquids at the place of liquid paraffin?
Liquid paraffin is the best choice since it is easily available in the labs and also has a high boiling point, which does not interfere with our experiment. It is even comparatively safe to use compared to other liquids with high boiling points
Mam I have to prepare a ppt may I please use a few equipment pictures out of this mam u wouldn’t be in it mam . And this like literally cleared all the doubts mam.
Thank you☺🙏 to observe the changing of solid to liquid, u need to observe through the capillary carefully.. Once the liquid is formed, u have to note the reading immediately
It is a liquid having high boiling point... Thats why even when u heat the liquid the rise in temperature will only affect the solid compound but not the paraffin oil... If water or any other solvent is used it will boil with rise in temp which will disturb the melting point reading
