This work shop showed me so much. To block off 4 areas and the bring what learned to a larger 2 part piece was something I will experiment with in the future. Thank You so much for being my personal Teacher Karen Dirmish you student
Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge, tips and techniques and experimentation with everyone. Your content is well-structured, informative and meaningful. And your demeanour is pleasant. Keep painting and sharing. Much appreciated! 🙏🏼
You are so inspirational, thank you so much for teaching me to express my interpretation of what is already in my head, but sometimes find difficult to put down on paper. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I feel free to create . Teresa
Hi Lois. I haven't said much lately, but I'm always looking in. This series of trial and error paintings are getting less defined, but still have the effect as detailed images. Meaning we still see the picture before us as translated by our mins eye. All rather cool. You know, no matter who says the words "burnt umber", it makes me smile every time. It puts me in mind of dear old Frank Clarke, and how he'd bring a little laugh with the way he said it, "bourn timber". How I love an Irish accent. Frank made me chuckle with every program he did. Some how he turned ordinary things into comical situations. Miss that man. Yeah, so with that out the way, it's time for me to thank you. As usual, a little joy has come my way. TTFN.
So keen to improve my skies and this has given me inspiration to just ‘have a go’. So kind of you to share this workshop with us…. thank you, as always😊
All gorgeous Lois, l would have any one or all framed and on my wall. I really like the unfussyness and simplicity of then. Of course this technique has experience behind it. Thank you as always for sharing your knowledge........Alioban
Thank you so much for sharing this video! I loved the colors you used in your studies. I also really like the idea of keeping a landscape book/journal. Maybe someday you can do a flip through of it for us? Please keep painting abstract landscapes. You give me so much inspiration! 😊
These are beautiful, what kind of book do you use for your studio journal and how do you fix the watercolours in? I would love to see a journal flip through, do you plan to share that?
