He was an excellent witness.. a true professional, great personality and very knowledgeable...I'm sure the jury really appreciated how clear and concise his testimony was..I really enjoyed listening to him. He carries himself well and I'm sure resonated with the jury.

This expert witness is amazing! So easy to understand for the jurors.

He's not an addict. He's a dealer. In my rehab we had a few guys who everyone knew were not addicts. They lied to the Judge and said they were slaves to their addictions and the drugs made them do it, and they wanted to get sober and turn their lives around and help people by telling their stories. Their lawyers lie for them. Instead of being sent to prison, they got sent to rehab and a sober house and outpatient treatment programs. They have great cars and guns guns guns and money money money, and they have no conscience. They can charm the socks off of your feet. "Yes, Ma'am", "No, Sir", "I love my mama".... What a conman.

Standing in front of his son...his son looking at him ...and the first didn't kill him....he had to finish him off....to TRY TO SAVE HIMSELF...WHAT A FATHER

I was glued to this witness testimony. Very informative , very professional, made everything extrememly clear. Just excellent at his job.

You know, with the emotions Alex is genuinely showing, I think he was actively remembering those shootings and probably thinking, “ that’s exactly how it happened “ and having murdered them. Terrible man! At least Paul went down fast, he made Maggie suffer. She must’ve been absolutely terrified!!!

This guy was awesome as an expert witness. He explained everything in a way that the jury could easily understand, and made it interesting. I've watched a lot testimony in trials and this guy was outstanding.

The way they were shot seems in such a cruel way.

Shooting from the hip caused upward trajectory. No need to shoulder fire shotgun at such close range just shoot from the hip. Maggie saw it happen and took off running. Got out of range for shotgun so he grabs the 300 brings her down with a long shot. The 300 had an expensive optical sight. then he goes to where she fell down and finished her off. JMO

Good witness. I learned some things. I just don't understand how Buster can sit through all the graphic testimony.

I found this really interesting. This witness was engaging and explained his findings in a way that made it easy to understand - in fact, I haven’t understood anything right up to this point TBH. I can’t imagine what was going through Paul and Maggie’s minds in between gun shots. I wonder if they locked eyes with Alex…

Alex is like man this guy is spot on like he was almost there when Alex committed these crimes!

He’s looking at the photos of all that blood and he keeps chewing. You can see Paul’s fragmented skull.

All it takes is one juror trying to gain favor with the murdaugh family to hang this case. The case should have been moved out of his home turf. When you have to cover a picture hanging in the actual court house because he's murdaugh legacy, it should have been moved. There was too much done in this case so as not to upset the murdaugh family. Even the police didn't want to "upset" the family. The case should have been moved, it just takes one, just one.

This witness was awesome, he didn’t speak in a forensic manner he kept it simple and straight to the point.

That Buster is as cold hearted as the murder. Chewing away on something just like old man. Yes shake that head yes because you know what you did.

I believe Alex is guilty with all the circumstantial evidence! Let’s see what happens.

His demo of the shooting of Maggie was better than the autopsy lady. I'm glad he demonstrated that for the jury. He apparently hated Maggie

Paul in centre of feed shed, Shotgun sticking through the open door pointed at you, how damn frightening, & to see who was pointing it at you😈 stumbled to the door opening only to have his brains blown out, then onto the next victim, Monstrous.

Whew…I can see why Alex was probably shocked when Paul didn’t fall down dead immediately! He was a strong kid, no doubt.

He was just an excellent witness, very competent and was so clear in his descriptions.

The way Alex M is eating mints and moving his mouth is an emotional sign that he is probably hiding the true

This expert witness solved the case for me. I would absolutely watch a movie he was in. I felt like I was watching Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, I was captivated.

So, Alex hunted Maggie down with the ride on, hit her with it, and then shot her. What!!!!! If you look at him, you can see right through him, psychopath!!!

This sounds like the Jeffery McDonald case. We know he was guilty.

Mr. Murdaugh didn't show any signs of grief or remorse for his wife while the expert witness describes her catastrophic injuries. He was just blank faced. Nothing. But when the expert describes his son's catastrophic injuries he was showing grief and remorse. And at one point, I actually think I seen a few real tears. Hey I just said that he was "showing" emotions, not that they were real. I think that his face turns all red because he's trying to force the emotions. And that's only because he knows that's what's expected of him. Otherwise, he's a cold fish.

To have been an attorney/prosecutor all his life, he had no idea of the tracking from his/their phones and WHAT A DETAILED STORY OF HIS TRUCK!!!!!

I believe Alex was thinking about confessing, during this testimony.

AM would’ve LITERALLY looked Maggie and Paul in the eyes before … …

My opinion on how the second shot to Paul went down and why it seems the shooter had to bend down or be a short person -- The space in the dog food room were Paul was standing was very small, so the shooter walks up ,shoots him and then backed out of the feed room right outside the door, squats down and when Paul gets to the door, the shooter takes the kill shot.

Pooter has been on his phone ignoring the testimony.

Alex has seemed sort of down today with this witness, some days he's been smiling & carrying on with his attorneys, but not today. His face had a UH OH LOOK!

Vinnie, i watched your closing arguments and i don’t think you should have put that out there that Maggie said Eddie in the kennel video ( because your friend from FB pointed it out ) no way she said Eddie ! She said “ hey, he’s got a bird in his mouth” so now if the defense was watching court tv tonight, they will definitely use it to put in the jurors heads! Because they have no defense and grasping for straws at this point! And even if Eddie was there the universe knows alex was there too! Anyway i watch you every night, love you and love your show always ❤

Just thinking about the terror that Paul and Maggie were feeling as they were being murdered is heartbreaking and for them to know that Alec was the monster holding weapons that were taking their lives! Just heartbreaking! 😢

Ever time I see that pointer I get chills, back in my day our Catholic School Nun-Teachers, used those to hit us (for no good reason). Yikes!

Obvious to me that the person who shot paul was walking backwards after the first shot and tripped over the raised door sill. If the shooter was laying on his back as Paul leaned against the door, it would explain the angle of the shotgun for the second fatal shot. It is common for people engaged in shootings to fall while moving backwards while shooting. Many shooting instructors will teach to always move forward or sideways while shooting to avoid the fall.

He probably never imagined that he would be in this situation. No accountability in his life until now.

He is a great examiner

I don't know how, but the witnes' southern accent adds so much to his credibility on top of his obvious competence. I'd buy anything he'd want to sell me xD

RECOIL ! RECOIL! Why isn’t anyone talking about recoil of the shotgun!? If someone shoots a shotgun and they were not steady on their feet, braced for the POWER of the gun, it could knock the shooter backwards, even to their knees, if they were not fully planted on the feet as they shoot. Therefore…. Yes they would be shooting that 2nd shot to Paul from a lower angle.

I cant imagine what Paul was thinking seeing his dad and that shotgun pointing at his head. What a monster he must of resented him for exposing him

Was the person/persons on the ground when they shot them?? It’s very odd that the trajectory on both is going up or in Maggie’s case straight into her head. So odd. Terribly sad….

Thank God for everyone that worked on this case to ensure that Paul and Maggie's murderer was held accountable! It is so incredibly sad to me that a father couuld get so caught up in his own madness that he thought that murdering his son was his way out!

I knew for sure he was guilty even without this testimony. Of course, the conviction has already taken place. I hadn't seen all witnesses so I double backed to this expert. Alex had to know his goose was cooked with this testimony. He hadn't even considered a murder suicide, but that was promptly ruled out.

I think I would have replaced a door that my son’s blood, etc had been on as well as the markings from the pellets that shot him. I wouldn’t have just washed and repainted the door.

Everything and everyone was expendable to Alex I’m shocked he didn’t shoot and kill the dogs

i wish there was a 3D active reenactment to really be able to see how this might have happened. Does anyone know whether Alex and Buster ever took polygraphs and if so, the results? Where was Buster during the time of the murders?

So SAD to think there are SO many evil people living on this earth. Especially someone who can murder their own family. God....bless Paul and Maggie. Alex murdough will have his judgement day and it's not in the courtroom

Happen to think about this when they discussed the time line. So if Alex didn't leave til 9:06 or 7 pm. One of two things would have happened. Either if he was at the kennel he would have been killed too. Or if he was leaving at this time he would have at least passed the killer in the driveway and possibly heard the shots.

I wish that somebody…a hell of lot smarter than me…can explain how a son (and a brother) could possibly sit in court and listen to detail descriptions of how their mother (and brother) were murdered and sit through it all as “dry eyed” as Buster did. I woulda been bawling my eyes out. But…I love my mother and brother. For all I know Maggie and Paul were just unavoidable obstructions in Buster’s life. At least that’s how he acts every time the camera pans to show him. I mean it has zero effect on him. I just don’t get it. Totally emotionless.

When you see a lawyer like Dick Harpoon playing with his phone during this important testimony, you know they don't care. Maybe some respect for the witness might be in order?! That's the point though, isn't it? They had no respect for any of them, they just tried to make them out as idiots, when in truth they paid $400 per hour for their's and they hadn't seen the crime scene or done the post mortems. It's almost like they thought they didn't really need to try a great deal, they would just steamroller the witnesses and the jury would buy their concocted stories. I guess that's what staying in a luxury hotel will do for you. The prosecution was in a budget hotel and actually did some work. The irony is that AM is the one being fleeced by this so-called, 'dream team'. It's one of the worst defences I've ever seen. Now, in a show of absolute contempt, they are trying to pay for Murdaugh's appeal using money set aside to pay his victims. It's shameful and what you would expect from a psychopath and his seemingly psychopathic defence. If that is allowed to happen, the law is an ass.

Dr. Kinsey reminds me my elementary school teachers... I'm from Taiwan and they always had the wood/bamboo stick on class to point and to beat us when we were not behaving.

Well if they let him off for murders at least they have the financial crimes to hold him to account!

The only thing I can’t figure out, is how did Maggie come into contact with that tire if she was not run over. This was an excellent witness. You could tell Alex was really having a hard time sitting through the testimony.

To me it's looking like he's gonna be convicted. Should've made a deal with the prosecutors for a life sentence rather than to sit back and listen them present his whole corrupt crooked life with finances and being desperate enough to kill his wife and child. They might be able to get the death penalty.

I think he could've killed them unassisted, by dual wielding weapons. He's been a hunter his entire life, he can probably shoot with both hands, he held each rifle by tucking the stock of the rifle in each underarm or using a sling.

I will never understand this. How can you kill your own child? And with a shotgun!? I don't think most people realize just how devastating a gun shot wound is with a shotgun compared to a handgun or even a rifle. It explodes. It destroys. Poor Paul man my god. I just can't wrap my head around it. Regardless of what Paul and Maggie were like they still didn't deserve this and by Alex of all people. They both knew who was taking their lives as it happened.

Why did their wounds travel upwards!! How tall is Alex?? What was the shooters height? Vantage point?
