Took me a little under 45 minutes to solve. Simon, you really are a fast solver! And perhaps sometimes too clever for your own good. There are several instances where you seem to overlook "mortal methods" and go on with your next level solving techniques. I'm inclined to suggest you pay more attention to your own notation, but I'm not sure if you'd actually solve faster. A few examples: the isolated 9 at 10:40, the naked 7 at 11:00, another 7 at 12:00, a 45 pair at 14:38. This is by no means meant as a critique. Solving these puzzles in the perfect order is nearly impossible, but it becomes so much more obvious when put on video where the viewer isn't performing and has all the surplus in the world to single out mistakes. Thank you so much for your videos. I personally love classic sudokus and chess-inspired sudokus. Looking forward to your uploads all the time.

I couldn't see the hidden pairs the way you did, but filling in the numbers meant I saw the quadruple 1289 in column 8 that led me to deduce the 36. Likewise I spotted a quadruple on row 7 also.

That was fun. I Liked the initial setup of 4 "arrows", looks very appealing. Also enjoyed that you spent a little more time going into detail on the tricks and how you spotted things. Bought the sandwich app yesterday, it's very nice and I will certainly recommend it, it also made me realize that the bigger the screen I play sudoku on, the more prone I am to not picking up on those sneaky "simple" digits, like those 7s in c1 that you left there till the very end.

Gotta say... that trick with the 3/6's and the 1/3's was brilliant! I spent 14 minutes on it and had everything possible... even the 8/9 and 1/8 in Column 8 and I decided to stop and just come back and watch the video. I realize now I would've never have gotten it.

He explains how to use it better here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-teOXgjSK7vA.html. Basically it locks those two cells together so that whatever number the one is, the second is the other. It limits the contents of the two cells to just those two numbers and can help eliminate possibilities in the row/column/block that the pair exists in.
