Chris, I feel like your fav Hit Man will be the lone screenplay nominee because it's a well written genre film that likely won't get into any other outside categories and that falls into line with previous Richard Linklater movies.
Kieran Culkin will likely get nominated, the way things stand now, but he's definitely not winning. No successful TV actor has even gone on to be nominated for a role that's pretty much the same as their best known TV character. The media seems to be really trying to manifest September 5..
Avatar The Way of Water was the highest grossing film of the year which also got great reviews. people are delusional if they think Gladiator 2 will come any closer to that achievement.
I think Gladiator 2 might end up being a new Napolen... But I'm biased since I think we don't need these sword and sandal movies with stereotypical characters... and I hated the trailer.
There’s no shot it’ll happen but I’d love if Compress/Repress by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross from Challengers got a Best Original Song nomination. Yes, it’s a credits song, but it’s so damn catchy. I’d rather see Reznor and Ross get in for Best Original Score though because it’s one of the most memorable of the year thus far
"September 5" seems boring, judging by the trailer. It's a well known, real life story, there's no point in telling it again, especially in such a dry and semi-documentary style. Unless it's for political reasons - to increase sympathy for Israel.
@@erafaelf I don't think so. Why now a movie about the events of September 5, 1972? It's not an anniversary or anything like that, why make another movie about Arab terrorists killing Jews 52 years ago.
