We must box clever and whilst some dead wood could be moved on the likes of Fraser, Hayes, Gilespie, Manquillo, etc. will reduce the wage bill but will be lucky to bring in £100m.

I remember 1995 - the total uproar when we sold our top scorer who had broken Milburn’s scoring record in a season - Andy Cole. Keegan almost resigned when he was confronted by fans on the steps of St James…but not long after we ended up with Big Les and Big Al - and so nearly won the title…so let me ask you this - in the coming summer do you think we could upgrade Wilson; Almiron; Longstaff; Burn; Willock and those on loan? I think we can - but they have to go first… listen to Eddie Howe on the Man City pre-match interview - the really big names (Bruno, Isak, Botman, Joelinton) aren’t going anywhere soon…it’s the start of something massive!!!

Villa, Brighton, and West Ham have all recently sold top players and reinvested. All 3, incidentally, are above us in the table this season.

Well explained keef. This FFP PSR is all new stuff to us. I’ll cry the day we sell bruno (inevitable with the release clause), but can understand and accept it to build us on. We need money in to spend. Life will move on and we’ll continue to grow. Howay the lads
