Wolves are in talks with Julen Lopetegui over mutually terminating his contract.
Former Bournemouth boss Gary O'Neil is a candidate Wolves are keen to speak to about taking over from Lopetegui, who joined Wolves in November 2022 when the club were bottom of the Premier League.
Lopetegui has criticised the club's lack of spending during this summer's window and has cut a frustrated figure over the last few weeks as he looks to build on their 13th-place finish last season.

Considering the lack of adequate signings to fill the voids left by the likes of Neves and others and Lopeteguis pedigree. Wolves definitely becoming relegation candidates

We got a very good bunch of players who have formed good partnerships we'll be even stronger this season even with out lopetegui. Neves is the only player we've lost that actually played for us last season all the others were bench players

Because wolves are sabotaging their own club, and not bringing anyone in but instead selling anyone that was crucial. And Lopetegui does not want to tarnish his reputation or have a team get relegated under his name.

Spent 120 mil last summer, 70 mil at xmas, you don't know what you're talking about. The club can't back him or any other manager at the moment due to ffp. It;s not hard to understand really.
