Great NEWS! #FIFA has lifted the suspension on AIFF after the #SupremeCourt backed off & terminated the CoA's mandate that was 'overseeing' Indian Football. (But this embarrassment could be repeated as MORE Indian sports bodies are under threat of a ban😡 - as we have mentioned in the story) But in this world where we don't agree on anything - can we all agree that Netas and their kids should be kept a mile away from our sports bodies ???

What's so angering and sad is that none of the media houses and even others have actually reported it on the level of seriousness it deserves. Thanks Akash for bringing this up ! There are so many Indians who love football from different parts of India. We watch European football week in week out. But we also want to see our own football developing, and this step by FIFA is a hurdle in us becoming good at this sports.

India will be winning the world cup soon because they are investing a lot in this sport. India is the inly country in this region who can compete with European and Latin powers. @@pw_pixelography let's be fair here. Even though I support BJP, Anurag Thakur has not done anything special. We are gaining only in sports where ex athletes have started private facilities. I live near a private Sports academy and a SAI facility. I was literally able to walk into SAI without an I-card and saw the facilities first hand. My apartment has better equipment than that place let alone the private Sports academy i talked of. They are working with equipment bought in the early 90s. This does not mean Congress was better. They allocated way more money and skimmed off even more. Today corruption continues but money is tight. If we are genuine about improving sports, we need to find a way to get ex athletes more funding and privatize sports in our country. No small coincidence that the sports we are best at Tennis and Cricket are not govt operated.

Being as Indian football fan it's very sad and heartbreak to see that, so called Media ( Electronic/ Print) houses has no space for Indian football and it's issues, just playing some clicks on the morning that, FIFA bans AIFF just it, before that no one is talking about this issue except some You Tube channels but this ban is way much bigger than what we think, it effects the whole Indian football and players and their future and today is inaugural day of 131st Durand Cup, on the same day this ban happened what can be worse than this for Indian football. All the credit goes to to Mr. Prafull Patel Thanks Akash for covering this issue 🙏

Akash we thank you for bringing up this issue and providing the details so the masses can relate to the ongoing issue. Until now it was only being discussed on some podcasts and RU-vid channels with very less number of followers, no offence to them but only a few handful like me were following those discussions since May. Our mainstream media channels also should take up such problems so people understand the level of corruption and politics we bring into our sports governing bodies and wonder why is it taking this long to reap the rewards at international level. @deshbhakt channel keep up the good work.

I was shocked and very sad and humiliated when I heard the news, and I think it's good for us that we should learn some lesson. But I was confused also about what this fifa ban was going to do to AIFF so, thanks to deshvakt. And I believe we will be back on track soon after this.
