Well, I actually like all the ghosts, I kinda regret talking smack about Inky... cuz I think he's pretty cool... so is Clyde... I was mostly just joking around when I talked about them in the video
Yeah to be fair, Clyde just doesn't care that much about chasing you like the other three do. I do feel like Inky can be kinda smart at times (as his movement depends on the AI of Blinky so that's why his movement is kinda all over the place) but still not as smart as Pinky or Blinky.
In the 1983 cartoon, Blinky was the scared one, Pinky was a male and the toughguy, Inky was the stupid one, and Clyde was the leader. Sue was also in the cartoon, but was indigo instead of orange like Clyde. The cartoon is probably why they changed her color in the games.
Simply: Blinky is red and always goes to you during chase phase. Pinky is pink goes tries to go infront of you to corner you during chase phase. Inky is blue and his position depends on Blinky. Usually corners you with Blinky's aid during chase phase. Clyde is orange and chases you until hes close. When hes close he does whatever the fuck he wants during chase phase. Sue is purple and moves left to right. When she hits a wall she changes direction. Pal is green and spherical and she helps Pacman by giving him fruit. Yumyum is red, small and has a bow. Yumyum is girlfriend of Junior Pacman. Tim is clyde. Funky is green and acts like sue but he changes direction to move towards pacman. Spunky is dark grey and sleeps. When pacman is near, she wakes up and gives chase, slightly slower than pacman. If pacman gets far enough, she goes back to sleep. Kinky is yellow and upgrades the other ghosts when they touch another ghost. Orson is darklime and is a boss in pacman world 1 and helps pacman in pacman world 3 Spooky is black, big and has horns and red eyes. He is the major antagonist in pacman world 2.
9:26 The reason is that Namco never owned the original arcade version of Jr. Pacman. Bally Midway transferred the rights of Ms. Pacman over to namco, but Jr's rights were never transferred, meaning that GCC (the original developers for both Ms. Pac and Jr. Pac). Still holds the rights to the arcade game. However i think this doesnt effect the use of the character himself, which explains his prominent role throughout the 1990s and 2000s. It almost did get a rerelease on the Super Pacman plug and play by Jakks pacific, but i think legal issues canned that idea.
I interpret the original arcade pac-man as microorganisms competeing within some kind of maze-like structure found in nature such as an intestine/digestive tract
Curiosity of spunky and funky, in pacmania they are the only ghosts can jump but funky with timing you can jump him, spunky is a strong jumper that you can't jump and says how energetic was she, but now, only sleeps and wakes up with nearby pacman, dissapointing
I honestly care only about the four main ghosts... they belong to one of the most original set of enemy you can find in a videogame. Speaking of the rest, they're all just generic to me. The only one who is interesting is Kinzo because, combined with another ghost, can power them up
You know, even though Pinky's feelings for Pac-Man is plain to see in Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, I never would have known that Junior would actually fall in love with Blinky's daughter! I could see a huge Romeo and Juliet situation between the two and their families!

For someone who claims to be a Pac-Man fan, I’m baffled you don’t understand the Bally Midway legal issues to why the characters and games of Midway aren’t released or acknowledged
I know about that... but anytime these companies have disputes over characters... no side EVER wants to budge... and it's obnoxious... like the whole 60's batman debacle, how it took them like 20 years to finally release the episodes on dvd! are you saying this is why pac-man jr. was never re-released? then why is pac-man jr. in pac-man world 1,2, & 3?... doesn't make sense. They own the first Jr. game? but not the character? The ridiculous nature of that... to me.. says that they SHOULD be able to re-release the game... because IT IS a part of the pac-man legacy... regardless to how the popular the original game was.... also.. what about professor pac-man? he was in the world games too...
@@thepatrickl.peckshow8317 bro, that’s WHY they don’t use those characters anymore, because Namco didn’t create them, and as for Bally Midway, they went bankrupt in 2009 and are now owned by Warner Bros, meaning there stuff is presumably under their ownership
@@nathanjstoic from the arcade era, basically all the “weirder” ones like Super, Pal, and then the 3D maze games like Mania and Arrangement so anything from there stays but Ms, Jr, Baby, etc is all of Midway’s little trend
I don’t want to edit my other comment because it will un-heart it but recently they added another new ghost to pac-man party royale (where itchy is from) called blasty who turns pac-man into a bomb and he explodes if he doesn’t pass it on to another player (basically like hot potato)
if you wanted glitchy from pm256 here you go: so glitchy by his name is well, glitchy, he only appears in pacman 256 because it's all about the glitch and stuff so they obviously gotta add him to the ghost gang. The thing about him in the game is that he appears randomly in certain times in the game, when he does, he chooses a random ghost behavior, (note: only the ghost behaviors from pm256), and does what they do, he doesn't use spunky, sue, pinky and funky's behavior as that easy to dodge and get right past it. I kinda wanted more from him but is was kinda obvios that they couldn't because it's not like they're gonna add a glitchy looking ghost to games that don't even talk about it, so really he is kind of a filler ghost for pm256 and only pm256. (extras: it's sad how in pm256 clyde has been bullied so much that in the game he commits suicide as quickly as possible)

Maybe there could be humans in the same world as pacman, but it still doesnt make sense why there in "pac-land"... in pac-man party for the gamecube, we see pacman & ms pacman interacting with the chick from ridge racer, and fighters from soul calibur... so whatever.
i would have assumed that it's one of those franchise's that takes place in some random world where humans don't exist and there's a replacement dominant species with the pac people being the dominant species here but i guess not and when pac-man just walks through the various area's of the game nobody even bats an eye no one is weirded out by seeing this round yellow man walking around everyone just accepts it as a perfect normal thing not like anything in pac-man makes sense like how in pac-man world it's pac-mans 20th birthday which not even just that the game is a 20th anniversary title which it is but that the game in universe literally occurs on pac-mans 20th birthday so how old was he in pac-man game's beforehand was he a teenager in pac-man 2 the new adventures and pac in time because he was literally already married to ms pac-man and had two kid's with her did pac-man lose his virginity when he was 12?! are laws just different for pac people? in pac n roll which is supposed to be a prequel set during pac-mans childhood pac-man for some reason is still called pac-man shouldn't it be pac-boy is that just his birth name a character named pac-girl appears in the game who is implied to be a younger ms pac-man meaning pac-man is probably his last name so than why isn't she called mrs pac-man instead of ms? in pac-man 2 the new adventures pac-man can go into an arcade upon your commands and will play the original pac-man and also ms pac-man if you have enough cartridges and the same thing happens in pac-man world 2 so is pac-man both a real person and a video game character in the same universe is this like a who framed roger rabbit type thing where there just actors playing part's what's more ridiculous is in the ghostly adventures reboot in the first episode of the tv show in the background you can at one point see a familiar looking arcade machine that says pac-man on it what people love to say mario game's make more sense than this maybe one day there will finally be something in pac-man that actually makes sense
If I said Clyde was a demon, im sorry, he's not.. but I dont think i said that exactly. It's very unclear what spooky is.. I was was thinking he was a demon too, but I think his lanky body looks similar to ghosts, and he also has resentment towards the pac people. Him teaming up with the ghosts seems to be an indication that he has a connection to them, and he was also defeated by sir pac's-alot, who was also a pac, who was similar to pac-man in his day, defending pac-land from ghostly harm
