You forgot to mention something a Holy Ring is made of Golden Chrom Digizoid the same material as Magnamons Armor and Magnamon is a Holy Knight Digimon.

Very interesting. Now on to something a little different Earlier today, I started wondering; What would the Transformers data from Cybertron (and its colonies) look like when translated into Digimon? Let explain a bit; in the lore of Transformers (which is prone to a few changes since the franchise predates the Digimon franchise by quite some time), it is stated that the Transformers themselves are creations born from the work of the enigmatic 13 Primes, even though only like 5 or 6 are currently known about. But here's the thing about Cybertron's children, which includes Cybertron's colony worlds, they all have mechanical features and the ability to transform from one form into another (some even have multiple alternate forms). So their requirements for life are different than those of our world; Cybertonians have the ability to actually operate in vacuums and airless environments with minimal issues. That all said, the Cybertronian language has been likened to a sort of advanced computer code or language well beyond what we have managed to achieve with our technologies, even in the modern era. And since Cybertronians basically have digital minds, seeing as they can indeed be affected by computer codes and are even stated to be prone to infection from a sophisticated enough computer virus, there are quite a few chances that data involving Cybertron and its colonies can have a profound enough effect on the Digital World that the data completely rewrites our understanding of things concerning Digimon and the Digital World. Cybertronian artifacts, like Vector Sigma (the supercomputer that manages, archives, and observes the life codes of Cybertronians) and the Matrix of Leadership (an artifact that is literally described as having the power of Primus, the God of the Transformers, with the power to defeat Unicron, the god of Destruction and Chaos in the Transformers franchise that also has the power to transform into a mechanical moon-like structure and literally eats planets) have aspects to them that would make any Digimon that draw that data potentially have qualities to them that allow them to exceed the majority of Digimon stated to be the most powerful among Megas, regardless of where on the evolution scale they are. My point is, a considerable portion of the data regarding characters, artifacts, and locations in the Transformers franchise that are well beyond what is typically seen on Earth could be far beyond the data of any Digimon we have discussed here before. And it would be a fun thought exercise. Of course, it would be a fun thought exercise to discuss what it could mean regarding Zoids as well, another franchise that's a bit less-known outside of Japan than the Digimon franchise. In Zoids, there are giant mechanical robot units that are based on different animals called Zoids, and they all use advanced computer systems to operate and function; some even have sophisticated artificial intelligence programs that allow for further advanced combat. In the continuity of Zoids Chaotic Centruy and Zoids New Century Zero, there is a special kind of AI program called an "Organoid System," the system allows the Zoid its own range of full autonomy, its own distinct personality that isn't seen with other AI systems, and the ability to both learn in real-time about its opponent while also developing countermeasures against them for when they encounter that same opponent later yon down the line; in addition, Organoid Systems are challenging to manage, this is because they only permit a select few to actually operate the Zoid they are occupying, anyone that doesn't meet their standards will actually have the entire Zoid unit working against them for however long they are in the cockpit, assuming the system doesn't opt to just eject them from the said cockpit.

Another aspect to consider would be how much of a power boost the holy rings give at each stage of evolution. For example, in your Salamon vs Agumon illustration, the power boost Salamon gets is vastly different from Gatomon's. The likeliest two reasons would be that power boosting affects each stage and/or digimon differently, or that somehow Salamon got a new holy ring when it evolved into Gatomon. In the latter case, it is possible because some digimon can start off with holy rings, relinquish them when they evolve further, or suddenly obtain them as they evolve. There is a gap in lore here which can definitely be hopefully explained by Bandai. But as that's unlikely, hope to see you connect the dots and build your own lore with your expertise moving forward, Jesse!

Data Squad has the Gatomon fusions from Season 2 doesn't it? Cause I feel like I remember that you can fuse it and it doesn't really make it stronger because Gatomon is a normal strength champion already

This is unrelated but I have a theory about the aftermath of Chronicle X. We know Jesmon took in that digitama to train & Gankoomon retired. This egg was spawned from Ogudomon X data. The Royal Knights is Digimon’s take on the Arthur’s Round Table. So I’m wondering will this new member in-training, that came from evil, become the Royal Knights version of Mordred? It could even be a take on Morgana. The Royal Knights have done terrible things for sure but they believed themselves to be right &/or were taking orders. They’ve squabbled amongst themselves & been divided into opposing sides. But not one of em yet has betrayed the team & the “cause” yet. So in the future this new royal knight can be there undoing, it’s possible story route

I think the holy rings represent maybe Divine Data in their digicore, we already see a Digimon lost his Holy Ring and becoma weaker, but as far as I remember we have never seen a digimon steal or use another's Holy Ring to get some type of boost, in the Reboot we see the Holy Ring of Tailmon beeng the factor who made her Angewomon and later the H.R of Angewomon the factor to evolve to Ophanimon, and in 02 Tailmon after loses her H.R she can't evolve to Angewomon. I have this theory that the ring represent a Divine Data in their digicore, but not means this will influence their Divine powers, that is a choice for who uses them

they need to clear up what happens when sumone looses their holy ring. bc GATOMON is explicitly stated once it has lost its ring it turns into a black gatomon.
