I just had my pacemaker replaced with an IV sedation and I’m telling you I woke up just like they said. I felt like I’d just woken up from a great nap. No grogginess or nausea or spaced out feelings. I was truly amazed at how well I felt. I had a great anesthesiologist, Dr. Foster. She was wonder.
I think this was the same thing they used on me when I had myn done. I've and noting else. Woke up feeling like I had a great nap with weird high (I did need help walking for about an hour though)
Not me, for some reason I wake up violent. Ativan and fentanyl both make me black out and rage. It does it to both of my parents as well. Drs still cannot tell me why we react that way to medications that shouldn't do that.
No fentanyl for me...does NOTHING...no pain relief, only anxiety, acute pain, depression. Now, ketamine...a wonder drug for me, no pain, no depression, felt on top of the world. I pray I have no more surgery ever, and feel for all those going through it today. Every anaesthetist seems to do it differently.
@@MadnaniFacialPlastics OH OK 👍 So they could Still be put to sleep though right? Tge suboxone wouldn't interfere with that correct?? And then just some Other type of pain medication that dosent contain Opiates. So the Pt could still have a procedure..Thanks for that!!! I really appreciate u responding to my question! Have a Great Weekend! Happy 4th of July! 🎆 🎇 🧨 🍗 🍔 🍉🌭🍺❤🤍💙
I'm getting oral surgery today they are giving me iv sedation with anesthesia I'll be knocked out from what I'm hearing maybe it depends on the dental work needed
@@jivebunny3765 I'm back home on my couch resting ATM it went for me like everyone else pretty much I was anxious and neverous finally went back after being called laid down in the chair for a bit doc walked in asked how I was said nervous he reassured me hooked everything up it felt cold ish around my arm where the IV was and then all of a sudden it was over literally in the blink of an eye like they say truly not bad at all
@@jivebunny3765 it was over before I knew it truly safe and not scary after the initial prick of the IV goin in a few min later you blink and are being told it's all done and can leave I'm already back home resting
@@jivebunny3765 my comments keeps getting removed idk why RU-vid is so odd with what they remove but I'm back home now resting it went so smoothly I was in and out before I knew it
I don't understand this difference except the fact that there is no tube going down the throat. Same meds so what's the big effin deal with what they are doing compared to what they call general anesthesia?
Will it be painless,to work on or extract a patients infected teeth,as anaesthetic usually will do nothing to numb the pain,in my experience as a patient ,if under iv sedation ?
