In this video I attempt to explain the school system in Northern Ireland and how it is different to the rest of the UK and Ireland and pretty much all other countries! What is your school system like? Let me know in the comments!
In the USA, mine is simple: Elementary School (6 years) Kindergarten (5-6) 1st grade (6-7) 2nd grade (7-8) 3rd grade (8-9) 4th grade (9-10) 5th grade (10-11) Middle School (3 years) 6th grade (11-12) 7th grade (12-13) 8th grade (13-14) Bonus: at the end of the 9 week, we have an exam High School (4 years) 9th grade (14-15) 10th grade (15-16) 11th grade (16-17) 12th grade (17-18) Bonus: Like Middle School, we have an exam at the end of the 9 weeks. We also have SAT test as well too.
@@JudeKennedyATCL Also, does Scotland, England, and Wales have the same school system like Northern Ireland, cause the UK is split up and I think England, Scotland, and Wales have the same school system like Northern Ireland does.
@@sss91597 England and Wales are similar BUT they have different names for the years and their A Levels work slightly differently. In Scotland, it is similar but they do different exams to the rest of the UK.
I think most people aren't from the UK, and probably wouldn't understand the schooling system I'm from Northern Ireland as well so I don't find it complicated :)
