i love the feeling when you open your presents and one of them is the brand new game, you see the shiny figures through the box "i cant wait to play as that guy" you start the console, put in the disc, watch the intro and then getting hyped when the characters says something about a skylander, then... its time.
The infinite Skylands theory was actually confirmed in season 3, episode 11, titled "Split", of Skylanders Academy, where Spyro says that the Skylands are literally endless.
I can confirm the working tarclops figure, my friend's dad worked with the design team on skylanders. (I even got to play the lava sewers pvp map early thanks to him!) One odd thing is I don't think it actually had a figure, just the register base to test him out, so I'm not sure if that leak is real.
There are no Light and Dark sources, the elements didn't exist in SSA and didn't come to be until the Cloudcracker Prison exploded, during the events of Trap Team.
I'm very disappointed about 3DS games not being part of this iceberg, unless the 3DS games are the abyss. 3DS version of Swap Force is pretty much canon because Count Moneybone returns in Superchargers and Flynn is from Boom Town. Maybe Buzz wasn't ready to be a parent and let Mayor McBoom of Boom Town adopt Flynn. But when Buzz started getting old and found out Flynn has grown up so well, Buzz decided to reunite with his son but never revealed Flynn about their biological father and son connection and wanted to be just a father-figure.
@@SkylanderGamerTV well the 3ds version of superchargers kinda expanded to be own adding tracks that didnt appear in console counterpart. Im proud to have both version. But i enjoyed the 3ds much more cause you can play your skylanders without need use the portal of power constantly.
We have an Skylanders Iceberg yet they didn't even unveil or acknowledge the existence of the Book Series and Comics? It makes me sad how obscure/unknown those are! Also they sort of did bring an unseen darker layer to Skylanders witch could've been beneficial to an Iceberg. Like that shocking torture scene between Eon and Koas happening within an Nightmare Spyro had in the very first book 'Machine of Doom'.

I loved that book for getting in me to enjoy Skylanders but I'd pick my favorite it'd likely be Return of the Dragon King. That was most epic official Spyro story I've ever witnessed! I also really like books 1,2, 6 & 7.
I think "Humans colonized Skylands" could possibly be referring to the Portal Masters. After all, Portal Masters seem to have some semblance of royal power in Skylands and Eon, Kaos, Kaossadra and Strykor all seem to be very human. But I mean then again, in the credits to Trap Team Kaos talks about how the game developers could possibly be related to the Ancients since they created Skylands. Also in Skylanders Academy I believe Eon says Skylanders is a repeating endless world. There's even a gag in the show where someone falls off a cliff and lands back on the same bit of land.
About the "Minis from Post-Apocalypse", when Activision first acquired the Spyro license, they went through multiple ideas. One of the ideas involved these small figures exploring a post-apocalypse.

I personally have a theory for the Skylanders series That being multiple timelines to explain the stake differences in different sources, the main timeline being the one where the Kaos Trap didn’t exist, and thus led to the events of Superchargers and Imaginators
In the comics kaos broke out but that could be true in superchargers and imaginatiors 1 is when kaos is your friend another is that he’s evil and also the same timeline as academy
They're the same species, of course they're gonna look similar. One of Nightshade's trap lines reveals he fancies Cali, suggesting he's a similar age as her (and thus also Flynn). It's weird how both Crash and Spyro experienced the same thing where after 3 games from the og publisher they where handed out to a couple different companies, their 4th sequels would be anything but good, and the rest would be good, but the final of the games that would be made by different developers would be bad, then they came to Activision and were resurrected twice, 1st in skylanders. and then a remaster of both of their trilogies.
People think pop fizz is trigger happy cause the backstory for pop fizz is that he drank too many potions and became weird. So people think that trigger happy actually drank the potion
The "?" element was used for light and dark elemental gates in trap team. If you had not gotten a light or dark skylander the element on the gate will appear as "?". This is because light and dark were not available at the release of trap team, and were later introduced with the expansion pack levels.
When you were talking about the upgrade path entry I remembered that in Skylanders superchargers there's a special upgrade for your portal master level thing where you get the ability to change your upgrade paths for Skylanders for a unlimited amount of times.
The infinite sky thing is true. It was explained in story scrolls, Cali, Flynn and some skylanders backstorys that they tried to find the edge but couldnt since its aperently in the center of the universe. Dosent make it any less strange to think about though😅
My biggest skylander headcanon is that, the reason why the giants were the first skylanders was because that they thought that, only the biggest could be the strongest. Kinda like how people used to say that men were stronger than women
I think that the trigger happy pop fizz thing is because they're both gremlins of similar shape and size, a little crazy, have nearly the same eyes and have the same tooth alignment

i miss skylanders, i just wish there were no more gimmicks, bring back the single small figures that were standard in ssa and a new good game, and imma buy everything
Considering how the Ancients could travel between Universes, chances are they simply settled some other place, or even transcended altogether. And actually, consider if you will the Oracle. Perhaps it holds a connection to them. And if anyone wants to theorise on the future of Skylands, Wolfgang's excursion into the future is a good place to begin thinking about in that regard. A literal section played in the future to glean from.
I think Trap Team and Imaginators being a sort of Prequel for the other games could be an interesting idea. With his reoccurrence boss fights before becoming playable in Imaginators and Trap Team, I feel like, with that prequel idea in mind, Chompy Mage got bored of his job as Sensei and annoyed that he now has to fight Chompies, that he turned on the Skylanders and decided becoming a Villain on his own would be more interesting.

7:24 Maybe because pop fizz is an alchemist and trigger happy has unlimited gold? we also know that pop fizz changed his appearance by experimenting on himself and trigger happy's origins aren't known. Just guessing why that would be a theory.

I guess the core of light interior is referring to non-euclidian spaces, which are physically impossible to build. The interior seemingly gets bigger and bigger the deeper you go... but its the skylands aka a land of magic
I kinda want to contribute to what I can assume would also be in the iceberg, near the bottom: the stories in the novels. One of them explored Nefarion, who essentially committed Portal Master genocide with the Mask of Power.
you just get used to swap force on the wii. I didn't even know it looked that bad until I saw recordings of the other versions. I don't care that much about graphics as long as there is good gameplay
I think *Minis are from a Post-Apocalyptic World* is based on Transformers Where there are these Transformers called MaxAnimals & Predacons that are from a Cybertron from the future where a shortage of Energon happened (that's basically a Semi-Apocalypse) so the Transformers became smaller to adapt Now they are the same size as Normal Transformers (because so it's more convenient to make them interact with the old Transformers) but Originally Optimus Primal was smaller than Optimus Prime's Head

U.B Funkeys. U.B. Funkeys (2007) was the first game of this genre. It was discontinued in 2010 and was worked on by Mattel, Arkadium, and Radica. It had multiple updates before it was discontinued. Almost every update had a portal, also referred to as a 'Hub', with the same mold but a different pattern. The Hubs were a special USB port to plug into the user's computer. The characters were the Funkeys, which each unlocked new in-game areas.

The only thing i know about recent new Skylander game is Lightseekers It looks like a spin-off of it but its with a Heartstone format, but with skylander like characters. It didn’t survived that long tho I really hope they will come with a remasterd version or something or a whole new rebooted game
I found it funny that Swap Force Wii’s graphics are considered bad. Me and my brother used to praise Swap Force’s graphics. We have Mario Galaxy, DKC Returns. But no, we praise Swap Force.
