I had the ultimate. This is what I did. I would go to the cafe during lunch time. I would ask for a to go box. I would stuff my to go box and then get my lunch as well. The to go box becomes my dinner .

How much in UT dollars are students charged for a meal in Ultimate dining? Trying to determine if UT dollars or block meals are better value for my commuter student.

Hey Kurt! That’s a really great question. I think the various dining locations on campus are all different, but I’d say most meals are around $10. The cafeteria is a little bit more expensive, but it’s buffet style all your can eat.

Hey Emily!! That’s awesome! Yes, you can use your swipes during the weekend, because the cycle restarts every Saturday morning. So you’ll get 15 swipes beginning every Saturday. And yes, the cafeteria is buffet style so you can swipe once, and then eat as much as you want for as long as you’re in there!

Hey! Yes, You can purchase any of the meal plans if you are a commuter. So yes, you could purchase the 7 meal plan if you’re living off at The Henry. You’ll just have to make sure you sign up to do that, where as on campus students get notified to select a meal plan. Hope this helps!

Hey Mary! When you pay for something using Spartan dollars, you can ask how many Spartan dollars you have left and they’ll tell you there. At the start of the semester, you’ll have a specific amount based on your selected meal plan! The UT Dining website shows how many Spartan dollars you get based on which meal plan you have! Hope this helps!!
