I just realized how much Aphex Twin's SAW 2 has always given me that liminal space feeling. It's been an obscure sensation I couldn't quite describe, but after hearing one of songs paired with an image it just clicked. What makes it even weirder for me is that I moved to eastern europe years ago from the US. And I still cannot associate SAW 2 with the setting, despite the album being "foresty" in sound and my coming from a desert (San Diego). It feels uniquely "American" in nature for me, in spite of RDJ's national origin and the music being inspired by his own surreal experiences.

0:40 and 2:00 are some of the only known photos of an object clipping glitch. As you probably guessed this glitch occurs when a structure or object clips through another solid structure or object. From our current knowledge, this glitch occurs when a structure or object is loaded in before the ground or floor tiles that it sits on. Therefore in the short amount of time that the structure or object is not sitting on solid ground, it falls a short distance. Then when the ground or floor tile that it was supposed to be sitting on loads in, it loads partially inside the object or structure because the structure or object is slightly lower than it is supposed to be. While this glitch is very, very rare and near impossible to trigger, if it is triggered it can be extremely dangerous. For one, when two solid hit boxes intersect they will begin to jitter and have the potential to launch each other enormous distances at very high speeds. Secondly, this glitch can give access to the "backrooms" which is a massive test area underneath the earth's surface that is impossible to escape once entered. As of the 2020.8 update this glitch is still not patched, however there are rumors of a patch coming in the 2021 update.
