Answer of Q no 1: Actually, Europeans were trying to find out another route travel to Asia and China, because Muslim empire in ottoman and around some more area being rulers, stopped trade of Europeans and demanded more tax. European then started to explore and many sailors make voyages and they found a "New World' - a new continent, named America after Amerigo Vispucci. Answer of Q no 2: It is simply the continuation of "Answer of Q no 1". As Europeans include Spanish, Portugese, and British were being ruled by Muslim Empire, named as "MOOrs", after the war of 700 years, Europeans got their territory back but for trade to Asia and China, Muslim Empire blocked trade route. So they were supposed to find out new route to trade. In the search of new route, Europeans found "America". So only these three countries Spanish, Portugese and Britishers required to find out the new route and explored a new continent. Answer of Q no 3: Exploration impact included exchange or introduced of culture, fruits, vegetables, diseases, and mainly for Europeans, as countries within Europeans were competitors of each other to find out new route and reached to new continent, was to become more influenced in new world than other ones. They wanted glory - to rule, gold to have more to spend and spread own religion. They develop colonies to claim more territory under their influence.
I am here because I am a History teacher and this is a great overview of colonization. I will be sending my students as well. Well done and accurate, mind you. Thanks!
I love this video she has so much expression but I guess i don’t really get it! Anybody mind helping with the questions I need it for quarantine school work!
Hello Ms. H! Just love your videos. Have you made any more videos that might be located in other places? Looking for some to go after the French and Indian War. Just love these!! You have put together something very special here!
Hi Deepak. Thanks for commenting! We really appreciated your insight on our video and we learned quite a bit. Check out our new video about the French and Indian War!
@@HistorywithMsH You are welcome. I am extremely sorry for responding late, this is because I didn't think if I will be responded for my comments or not and so I did not check it. Today I was going through my emails and found the comment of yours and other viewers, so I just get back to you. Well thank you once again. You have done a great job.
Well produced and presented. Your section on France not trying to convert the indigenous people is not quite accurate as the French were very active in religious conversion, as long as it didn't inhibit the growth of the fur trade. Sometimes, access to trade, and items like the musket, were dependent upon accepting Catholicism. French Jesuits also spread far into the west of New France to spread their faith (and diseases unfortunately. Your differentiation between French and English attitudes are good, but there were French settlers as well. My home province of Nova Scotia was originally called Acadie by the French (Mi’kma’ki by the original inhabitants), and was settled by French farmers called the Acadians, who were mostly expelled by the British in 1755.
Hey i find your videos awesome... Can you please make a few more videos about the presidency of Bill clinton, American relation with the foreign institutions, and American involvement in major conflicts of the world??? I am looking forward
Young lady, that was definitely one of the best 8t grade US history videoes I've ever seen. The ONLY negative thing anyone could possibly say about this video is the length, but then, you kept me interested by providing rich visuals throughout the video. Super LOVE it.
Columbus was not shooting in the dark. He knew exactly who, what and where he was heading when he traveled to the Caribbean. There was no china trade route even in consideration..He and Spain where the only peoples willing to be ruthless. You do tell a good story I guess.
@@Clancy192 stay fishing. Nothing on this planet is like the neandereuropean except a virus. Everyone else had more human DNA. There for they had humanity unlike the Neanderthal creature.
Hello! You definitely don’t need it now since it’s a year later, but mercantilism is the belief that colonies only exist to make the mother country (in this case, England) more money.
@Simple BadStandards this is our school chant. If you know it u go to my school Good better best Never let it rest Till your good is your better And your better is your best
The map of the French territories in North America completely ignores the first French colony of Acadia. Parts of Newfoundland were also controlled by France.
Utter nonsense that the French were not trying to Christianize the Indigenous people. It was one of their primary purposes and mandated by the French crown. Also there was a concerted effort to make the indigenous over into good Frenchmen by both Christianizing them and intermarrying. This was French policy. As far as being friendly to the Indigenous people how do you explain the many Indigenous slaves the French in New France had? The dynamic of the French imperial system in New France was one of few colonizers trying to control a large trade area to exploit furs and other resources. This forced the French to negotiate alliances. The French were not altruistic - it was a matter of riches and power. The French King was far more interested in being the main power in Europe. As crazy as it sounds Louis XIV was afraid too many of his citizen's would move to New France so immigration was discouraged. Again utter nonsense that France settled its trading outposts with criminals and people just wanting to stay in New France to trade for furs for a short time and then return to France. The fur trade was largely carried on by young men who were born and raised in New France - the coureur de bois. It was a good way for a young man to earn a lot of money in a short time and thus have the funds to establish a farm, etc. Others made a life of it. The merchants of New France gathered the furs and shipped them to buyers in Europe. The beaver fur was not worn as pelts made into coats, etc. but was used to make a fur felt used for the production of hats.
Roman Catholicism monks and priests puritans and maybe other christian groups at the time forced native Americans to convert or at least tried they colonized them forced their way of life on native Americans native Americans were hurt by so called christian groups they brought their diseases with them and broke treaties all some of the native Americans wanted was to show them how to respect what God gave us they were about capitalism money hungry because of the powers who were controlling this country before the founding fathers even came up with american way of life they wanted to make friends with them so they could force their way of life on them they did their best to destroy everything of their culture and way of life. Jesus not happy with that. I'm not saying that there were not some native Americans were 100 percent free from their part but some native American tribes are very peaceful people and they just wanted to share with us without greed it's a shame America knows it showed on dc faces very angry they won't admit yet they will admit to other race groups why can't they be heard to. They will answer for what has been done to slavery and they will try to make amends yet but for the natives it's wrong why can't we admit and rectify that.
