I love the landscape in Southern Arizona... especially this time of year! It's hard to appreciate the size of those cacti without seeing them up close. Good to see you making the most of the shorter days this time of year 👍
that was so awesome you two! I was there a long time ago with my mom when we lived in AZ. Amazing place and so true about the plants and how the Natives must have fought their way through. It's really remarkable how old these cacti are. To think they were there when it was Mexico... mind boggling. Great music too.
We've been trying to visit there for a long time, it's just too hot when we have the most time to go. So this was a quick trip with a LOT packed in! I think I could handle living in AZ, as long as I don't have to work outside, LOL
Pretty awesome adventure. We hiked that trailhead last April. It is so awesome to see all the different cacti and vegetation. I'll bet the temps were much better for you in December. Looked like a great trip. Have a great day.
