I live in North Louiisna, and my daughter lives in Little Rock, and we are planning a trip to Eureka SPRINGS! Thank you for the great tour!!! Beautiful and very interesting! I never knew it was called Little Switzerland....that is so interesting!
I hope you got a chance to go! My wife and I live in NWA and we make a few trips to Eureka a year. We always have a good time. Good food and cool little shops!
Do you know about the cat that lived at the crescent hotel? I visited there as a young woman and he was a kitten. Again as an old woman. He was still there. They ask people not to pick him up as he was old and in pain. I was thrilled when he petted me and sat on my lap. I think they called him Moris. One of his kittens was taking over his duties at that time.
Eureka springs is my favorite place on earth. I've been there many times in my life and every time I saw something new. If you go there and can't have a good time it's not the city's fault.
The entire town is amazing!! The architecture is magnificent!!ooh. But the Cresent hotel!!!! So beautiful!! A moment in time! And the history is so spooktacular👻 I would love to visit! !! The lake park is spectacular!! Absolutely breathtaking views!! And the wildlife sanctuary !!! What a blessing for these big kitties!!!!! This was a spectacular tour Allen!! Thank you as always!! Happy Halloween Eve!!🧛♂️🧛♂️🧛♂️🧛♂️🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃👻👻👻👻🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃
This was a nice tutorial, Allen. Thanks! I would stay there if I were in town. I stayed in The Congress in Chicago and they have ghost sightings there. I went up to a ballroom so to speak and checked it out, but not any of the guest rooms noted for. Some people in there showed me a video showing ghosts. It didn't effect me in the least, but then, I'm not a believer in. Cool on the lions and tigers and bears, oh my! 😉
What a neat town! Beautiful architecture and the animal sanctuary was amazing. I think I am convinced to plan a visit to Arkansas. Moss Mountain was already on my list!
I love that you are always looking at conservation, regardless if it's a plant, chicken or in this case big cats (and a few bears) would love to go there sometime. Thank you Allen for the tour and oh yeah, enjoyed the hotel too :-)
We used to love going to Eureka Springs! No matter where we've lived over the last 40 years, my husband and I would stop by if we were anywhere near there. It was full of lovely work from many artists of many mediums; the food was delicious and many different options were available; it was clean and friendly. We went in April of 2016 and it was so awful I doubt we'll ever go again. We had to move to a cabin in the woods outside of town because the first place we stayed was so disgusting, and the CONSTANT, LOUD packs of motorcycles made it impossible to enjoy anything. I have nothing against bikes...I have several family members who ride. However, this was 30-50 at a time that were so loud it literally made your ears hurt! There were about 2 good places left to eat, and they were packed. It took us an hour to find something that wasn't pizza or hotdogs. The shopping area was being overrun with junk shops. We even heard a couple of shop owners talking about how they were probably going to need to shut down because they couldn't compete with the cheap sh*t moving in. There were signs in front of houses asking people to be considerate and quiet because people live there, and yet the bikes would rudely roar through the neighborhoods. We cut our trip short. It was not only the first time we'd EVER done that, but the first (and only) time I've wrote to a city Chamber of Commerce to tell them why. If this has changed, I'd go back. Otherwise, sadly, never again. It's such a unique place. It was sad to see it deteriorate.
It sounds, like so many other interesting towns, like it has just turned into a tourist trap. I like bikes too, and used to race motocross, but large numbers of street bikes rolling through town ruins it for all but the rednecks.
I've been there before but we didn't get to explore much because we went with our entire family (cousins from far away and grandparents) and everyone wanted to go to a different place. The hotels was super cool tho
They showed my picture during ghost tour ty 16 years n a row been there BEST HOTEL IN US just my opinion the staff make you feel, right at home. THEY are the best
I took a picture of myselft infront of a mirror on the most haunted floor of the hotel and boommm! there was something weird behind me. No kidding! I actually had goosebumps when I saw it.
So let me understand this. The title of the video is America’s most haunted hotel. But the host calls it my mumbo jumbo, and the tour guide says “we’re not a haunted house, we just tell the stories”. I wouldn’t say those things if I were wanting people to come and check us out for the ghosts. I mean after all, this is supposed to be a haunted hotel video. The place looks interesting to say the least, and as my mother was from Arkansas, I have a vested interest in going for a visit. But y’all may want to make more neutral statements regarding paranormal activity.
