You were so right about Madrid. My spouse and I just wrapped up a two week trip to Spain and Italy. Barcelona used to be my favorite European city, but Madrid has now taken that spot.

Useful tips! Always come in handy. Madrid is on top of my bucket list for Western Europe along with Portugal. Such beautiful places but don't get due credit.

Madrid is the total opposite of NYC. Madrid is very clean, phenomenally friendly people, extremely few homeless people, very little crime, dependable and very clean public transportation, ¿Should I continue? I live in NJ only. 45 minute train ride from mid-town Manhattan. Used to go into the city every 2 weeks to do theater, museums, etc. in the summer. Unfortunately conditions in NYC seem to be out of control. I travel to Spain alone every year (I am a not so young woman.) and will be spending a few weeks in Madrid and it’s surroundings in September. Have no fears whatsoever. NYC used to have it all, but unfortunately the politicians and their bad decisions have ruined the city.

@@brownboytravels I mean no disrespect, but I live in the U.S. and many here use "brown" to refer to anyone who isn't black or white --sometimes even Mediterranean Europeans. You can't categorize Mexicans, Syrians, Pakistanis, Bulgarians, Filipinos, Armenians, etc. into one racial category... That is wrong, and it not only shows their ignorance, but it is also a form of passive racism. That's why I'm always surprised when someone uses that label on themselves. Sorry to be a butthole about that, but I'm not just a butthole😁😁 I think you're very professional at what you do. I love your videos, and I find them very entertaining... Just the name I don't like.
