North Carolina is so rich with lore and legend. Myself and several others witnessed three fairies one night in Valle Crucis when walking through the woods in Valle Crucis. My phone had flashed and scared them, and in that split second they had completely vanished.

My name and I am park Cherokee and white, my Father and all his people are Cherokee and my Mother was a White Woman and I am very proud to be of Cherokee Decent. I remember one time when I was 5 yrs. old I was at my Aunt Marie Humming Bird Toney Home on the Cherokee Reservation in N.C. and I was out in her back yard playing with some of my kind childern and we saw two Young Bigfoot getting apples off my Aunts Marie trees she had in her back yard and we went running into her house and told her what we saw and she went out on her back porch and she told us that they come to her back yard where she plants a gardan every year and they get food out of her gardan andshe leaves different kinds of food out for them. She told us boys that they are a different type of spire people and they will not hurt you and than she said something in Cherokee to the Bigfoots and they got there apples and went back into the forest. I had another incounter in 1975 when I was a Federal Park Ranger with the Army Corp of Eng. at Clarks Hill Lake that bouders the two states in S.C. and Ga. and it is the largest man lake East of the Mississippi. I had a report that someone had been cutting fire wood of Corp land with out a permit. I put my flat bottom UB-2 Boat in the last boat ramp in the upper end of Little River Ga. and I went up the Little River Cr. for a mile where the fire wood was supposed to be cut of Corp Land and I got to the area and I pulled up on the creek bank and I saw several wild hogs down close to the creek and all of a sudden they started running back up into the woods and I woundered why they were running and than a very large rock hit the water close to my boat and than another one hit even closer and than I seen it when it steped out behind a very large hardwood tree it was a very large 8 to 9 ft. long brown hair Bigfoot and it's arms went down passed it's knees and I didn't small a bad order from it at all like some other reports said they had. We looked at each other for 5 to 10 minutes and I raised my hand in peace and I said a Cherokee pray my Aunt Marie taught me when I was growing and than I told it that I was sorry missing up it's wid hog hunting and that I woud never come back or tell antone what I had seen. I backed my boat off the creek bank and when I was leaving it raised it's hand up in a pease sign. I didn't know if it was a male or female and I never was afaid. I told my wife and three sons what I had seen and I never told anyone at work what I had seen and I told my boss that I didn't find anyone that had been cutting fire wood off Corp Land and I never ever went back into that area. These two Bigfoot sighting are true and I'am telling the truth. Those were the only two times that I have ever seen any Bigfoots. I have seen in my 42 yrs. of being a Federal Park Ranger Bears that had come down from the mountains, Black Panters several times but they were in areas that the CORP had not develped any campground, day use areas or large main boat ramps on our lake mostly in the upper end of our 1,200 miles of shoreline, 70,000 acres of water and 80,000 acres of land.
