These roads are private. I am not sure who should look after them. The roads on the hills are damaged by the rain water running down the mountains. The construction workers don’t help either. Look how they mix the mortar in the streets. People making those big houses should be able to hire mixing equipments.

New subscriber. Lovely tour I left Jamaica at the age of 12 I am in my sixties now never visited these areas in JA but was well aware of these neighborhoods. Just and idea if possible could you show us the older homes in these neighborhoods with a little history for example who was the builders, showing that people from the Caribbean are capable and able to build such beautiful communities. Red Button journal is such a great promotion for my birth country. Big up The journal!

Bro you passed my house and said you needed an elevator😂😂😂 all I use is a car though😊 u r right stone walls cost a lot but we don't do them all at once. It's a process of over 3years sometimes.... but that's the cost of the views and to ve away from ths smog and noise down on the flat

OMG!!!! I loved seeing this bcuz I lived at the "foot" of Queen Hill when I was growing up out there in Jamaica back in the 70s and 80s. Back then you could count on one hand the number of houses up there. Now it's crazy how developed it is, looks nothing like those times!!! At that time the homes up there stood out bcuz there weren't many. Red Hills Road looks so different. I can see myself back then riding on the JOS bus going down Red Hills Rd., the always packed #37 A bus; if it came to your bus stop packed it'd just drive by and you'd have to wait for the next one that sometimes wouldn't come by for maybe another 30 to 60 minutes!!! They didn't have a lot of buses on that route back then. Memories, memories!!! 😊😊😊😊👍🚦🚌🏡

Gorgeous homes and views, but the roads in such a lovely area are ridiculous! People need to complain to the government, unless they are private roads that the residents are responsible for. Those roads will tear up your cars.

Hi guys the tanks is for extra water when the water is gone you have water to use in the house to shower to flush your toilet cook and clean most of Jamaica houses have that tank but some people paint them in the color of the house love you guys you are an Inspiration ❤❤😊😊

Guarantee that majority of those new building are the Chinese,realtors builders. Rich people and other foreign builders which are ok. Only thing the hospital services not good for under privileged people 😉🤔

Hi Tom n Ms Madge good afternoon. Its Good Friday and noon time here in Metropolitan Atlanta where its still cold today.😂 I must give you the biggest Thanks for this Video! Red Hills has absolutely changed its beautiful with better views. I used to go to the Red Hills area when i was younger to see my Uncle Who Run The Purity Bakery, ìn that area was all forest like mostly bush none of these Big homes were there, n now look at that area they have Cut down all the Bushes sold out all those Spaces to make room for New Build. The views are breathtaking. Many Thaks for showing us this bc as for me i haven't been back since 1995 So i am looking forward to see all these new developments. God bless you and your Wife always.
