Idk who needs to hear this but there's a much easier way to do this with less wiring. If you roll down the back window and pop off the piece of trim on the headliner you can reach in there and pull out the wiring harness. It's just a few inches up in there and you plug right into it. Just sayin lol
Thanks - I, like others have said, have had one sitting for over a year. Said plug and play but could not get to the plug. This worked like a charm. TY! Almost going to feel bad getting rid of mine but have a Maverick ordered to get the better gas mileage!
For once I did a project before munnday86! Although I went with (what i feel) a cleaner approach. I cut the old halogen housings off, and found a female third brake receiver at a junk yard. F-150’s and Rangers of the same year range have them, only costed $12!

If anyone wants to install the Ford connector for the LED 3rd brake light, this is the part you need: Motorcraft WPT-1167 Lighting Electrical Connector It costs more than the light, but then if the light fails, it can be swapped out easily and quickly without having to resplice the wires again.

Man just seen your videos lol I have 2004 sport trac 220000 miles drive great never will get rid of this truck unfortunately I put 22 and dropped it 3in but funny thing you youtube name has 86 I was born that year great videos ima go back watch all your videos of the sport trac iv only problem i have is aliment and change fuel filter inline fuel rail sensor and my suspension ind the only downside of the truck im sure its because i dropped it 3 in beside that the truck bullet proof as you know o my paint sucks too but I lived in Houston Miami then now Arizona so I got rust on my roof awesome videos ill check them all out

Thank you for the channel dedication it means alot. My sport trac came from the factory with rear disc brakes. If it did I for sure would have done the conversion..
