Prime example of why not to have kids

Also love that the boat has already been demasted twice. Sounds like a backyard build or cursed. Also why are the kids on deck without life jackets literally bouncing on unstable object next to rail.

anyone else wondering why the hell they would bring kids on this?

It’s plain reckless. Especially knowing that the passage they’re looking for will only exist once all the polar ice becomes nonexistent.

I would throw them overboard when nobody's looking..

Why would you bring two little kids on a sailboat, that have no manners for other people. If I was that tired & those kids started screaming & yelling, someone would die that evening. I would quit as soon as I got to Dutch Harbor. Control your dang children. Someone is going to get seriously hurt.

Having children on board is really awful for everyone involved including the kids

I agree, children should not be on that cramped boat, no wonder they throw tantrums, they need proper exercise and stimulation, not confinement in freezing conditions, abuse.

I was onboard with the whole thing right up until the kid showed up.... I mean this is a level of stupidity on par with the Titan submarine disaster

sailing with children can be really nice. it's just a matter of organisation and to keep them entertained. the whole boat looks like a mess. that would be more disturbing to me

I though the same xd After sailing north baltic for 3 weeks straight it was essential, even in the summer :o

Hippies. No logic. Not even a mother who can discipline her children. Like the voyage of the damned.

I feel like 75% of the problems on board that ship can be solved if you just took the kids overboard. Kek.

Hmmm. The loss of the ice cap in the north will mean at least a seasonal northwest passage will become a reality.

im confused, dont they have heating in their boat
@RustyShackleford_
@RustyShackleford_ 2 года назад
There are radiators, but the colder it gets, the less effective they are. It's hard keeping a structure above sixty degrees in those temperatures. The walls radiate cold air, and the radiators are in a constant battle against it when running.

@@RustyShackleford_ yea but insulated hulls exsts and a sailboat of this size can carry several tons disel/coal to keep itsef warm. If i where to sail in those temratures i would definivly plan for it
