Exploring an abandoned school in Springfield, IL that has been left for nearly 20 years. Inside proved to be extremely hazardous as some of the upper floors were made of wood and were rotting away, making walking around highly dangerous.

Dude nice find! Im from town and have never seen this area. Gunna check it out soon. Funny i found a phone near the rooftop of one of the pillsbury buildings. Weird what people leave behind

Weird that someone just left their phone in there and didn't go back for it! No way has it been there for 19 years since the place closed. There weren't phones like that back then.

1:48 - I don't think I've ever seen a drop ceiling in a gym before. Very odd place to have one. 8:31 - "Amplifed by Decay" would be a great title for a death metal song

What other spots in town did you try that didnt go well you mentioned? I scoped this spot out today and the doors boarded up now.

I think the only one that I remember right now that I tried and gave up at was some sort of multi-purpose educational/job facility for disabled people near downtown, I got as close as I could but there were police cameras in front scoping it so I couldn't find a way in out of sight of those.
