This seems very commercial in places; like it was used as a venue. It reminds me of a place near me in Ohio where the owner taught dances classes at home and also hosted wedding receptions. Two things I absolutely loved - the wallpaper in the office and that gorgeous Mid-Century staircase. Thanks for the incredible video Ethan, I'm praying you feel better soon.
Love this one!!🤩 Totally Awesome Retro home! I love the staircase style with the wrought iron detail. The huge "party room" is so cool! I would love to decorate this one. I could totally live in it! Great find!😎 Get well soon, I know colds really suck! 😔 ✌️
What a shame that it's going to be demolished. It's a wonderful house, and I'm sure a lot of people would love to live in it... including me! Thanks Ethan. No stinky litter box either! 🩵💙
Definitely a cool house and huge. So much living space. That huge party room with the disco ball quite the entertaining space. Love the bathrooms especially the original tile floors. Kitchen was nice but would have to ditch the ceiling lights. The house was in pretty immaculate shape. A shame they will tear it down. There won’t be any retro houses left pretty soon. Thanks Ethan. Take care be well and be safe.
I unstand what they were doing with the ceiling lights. The whole house has square patterns and long lines, so it's in keeping. Not my favorite either, but I get it.
Oh of course the jerk who bought it will be tearing it down. Cripes that makes me so mad. Fricking greedy developers who ruin nice homes and put up cheapo ugly boxes. Whenever I hear of a developer losing his shirt, I throw a party. Can't stand them. Thanks for yet another awesome video Ethan!
Funny.. my condo was built in 1984 and it has clamshell bathroom sinks and an entire wall of mirrors in the master bedroom. I wonder what other 80's architectural elements I'll recognize. Ahh!! I want that chandelier! Gorgeous. And the leaf wallpaper, how unique. Great house. I hope you feel better.
Ethan, I haven't seen someone so devoted as you , you just love what you do and willing to show homes even when you are not feeling well. I have such respect and admiration from you. All of us would rather you stay at home when you are not feeling well. We can wait with excitement and let the excitement it build up , YOU ARE always 100 percent in WHAT YOU DO. WE REALLY APPRECIATE YOU. I PRAYED TO OUR GOD FATHER ALMIGHTY, THAT JESUS CHRIST LAYS HIS HEALING HANDS UPON YOU AND GIVE YOU A FAST RECOVERY. THANKS FOR ANOTHER IMPRESSIVE HOME.
Such a beautiful home. A heck of a lot better than the last house. The layout was wonderful. Thank you for another amazing adventure and I hope that you will get better soon. Stay safe and can’t wait for the next adventure 💙🏠💙🏠💙🏠💙🏠
1. Thank you for acknowledging the Attic Monster (& the closet trapdoor disadvantage)! 2. Never seen square light fixtures like this. 3. Living room: dance studio. Kitchen ceiling: 70's star wars vibes. Basement bar: Brady Bunch kitchen counters! Party room: disco barn! 4. Hope you feel better very soon! Take care 😊
I really loved this house tour. It's so beautiful and hope they don't tear it down. It would really be a shame to see it destroyed. It's really big and has so many cool features. The bedroom with the sitting room off on one end is a great place to sit and read. I always unwind by reading physical books not online every night which I really enjoy. I love watching your videos Ethan also. Stay healthy.
I just love that tiny disco ball in the party room😅That place was huge. Loved the grass cloth wallpaper. Certainly was uniform in the color scheme. Beige in different hues. Fireplaces were beautiful. Take care Ethan, get better!
What a great house! Thoroughly enjoyed touring it with you. Awesome party room with the disco ball, loved the staircase and retro light fixtures, and all the wood! Wood walls, wood floors, wood closets and shelving. And was blown away by the "leaves" as wallpaper! Great video of an awesome house. Thanks for sharing! 👏👍😊❤🇺🇸
Love the mid-cen , can do without the 80s stuff . But overall LOVE THIS ONE. ETHAN Your the BEST! NOBODY BETTER . Thank you for Keeping us all entertained .
With all those mirrors in there maybe there was a ballet studio. So happy to see all the houses that you go to. Appreciate all your hard work. Good job!
I'm sad that this incredible house is going to be demolished. I loved everything about the house except the ceiling fluorescent lights in the kitchen. The wall with the real leaves was cool, but my OCD kicked in seeing the seams in the wallpaper lol. Great explore Ethan!
WOW 👌 what a treasure !!!..loved this house Ethan, the light fixtures, the stairs were amazing ...the leaf wallpaper ,never seen anything like that before...FAB U LOUS 💥...get well soon, stay safe ,warm and happy 🤗💋
What a gorgeous house too bad its going to be torn down! Love the hugh room wth the fireplace and the wood beams on the ceiling. Also loved the master bathroom. Thank you for sharing! Awesome explore. Also get well soon.
What a cool home. I loved all the various testures in the main rooms. It was really spacious and nicely designed. It would be cool if someone would buy one of these homes and not tear it down. Upgrade or whatever to fit personal style but keep the physical structure.
Ethan so sorry your looking really ill a special thankyou for the video, this house is spacious big and light in colour with a few touch of exquisite décor. Hope you get well soon.
You could definitely do the Hustle in that party room! Love the retro light fixtures, the master suite, and that first upstairs bath! The bar's countertop looks '80s.
Cool house, if not a bit sterile or possibly commercial for business. HUGE! Best features: staircase, mirrored walls w/ hidden storage shelving and light fixtures not counting the tube fluorescent ones. Thanks Ethan!
What is up Ethan? Drink some tea with honey for your cold and feel better soon. That was once a really fun family home, minus the one closet bedroom, of course.
As someone who was born in 1962, houses built in 1950s and 60s were meant to last, u might not like the interiors but builders knew how to build a house to last, so unfortunate that a classic 60s house like has to be demolished, house back then many updated features today were normal then, Harwood floors etc etc with new interior etc this place would last 100 years, these new houses and mansions are built like crap, if u find an old classic bungalow they are great
Ethan I hope you are feeling better soon! I really like your video so much. I'll be very sad if you won't here to produce videos and I'll wouldn't be able to hear your voice on every video if you were not here. You always make me smile when you say What is up you guys in every mirror you see!! 🙂
So sad to see another house torn down. I recently found out that the house my grandfather built was torn down. I am still upset. I grew up in that home. It had unique features. I was so mad when my father sold it. He needed the money. I always dreamed of moving back there. Now only the chimney remains and there are metal buildings on the property. It makes me sick😢
The House has a very unusual setup. Not sure I would want to live here though. If i could take parts and make my own plan it would be cool. Roller Skating parties around floor of the "party" room. Kind of dangerous with all those mirrors, if you had kids there. I wonder if they ever had to replacethem? I am gonna send you an O-flashlight. Where can I send it, please? 😁. I love the lights in the stairway. 2, I think. Your the best Ethan. Please be safe and healthy. Blessings to you.
Your comments made me laugh throughout. Maybe because I’m of enough to remember the different eras. Love this house! Maybe my favorite yet. Thank you. 🙂
Oooh those stairs were gorgeous. The rest of it, too much like a yoga studio or function centre and then that grubby basement?! Wallpaper on the ceiling is such a pain to remove and sourcing then changing globes in weird 70s 80s light fixtures is more of a pain …
King Tut's treasures went on tour in 1977, and it was HUGE in popular culture. Looks like one of the kids made the King Tut mask in school. What an amazing cultural time capsule.
Ethan please take care of yourself. I love this house, such ashame the new owners are tearing it down to rebuild, the basement does need some upgrades and issues addressed.
the room with all the mirrors looks like a ballet studio....but I love this house and it looks pristine - I'd move into this - why would anyone want to tear it down just to put up a cookie cutter McMansion?? great house Ethan!
i see different add-ons throughout the house .the lights in the kitchen are similar to the ones in the house i grow up in the early eighties definitely retro home 🏠🏠. I have actually never seen a whole wall of mirrors that looks like a dance studio . Ethan i hope your feeling better . much better than the cat house . thank you for taking all of us on this cool adventure with you . much appreciated
Massive front doors! Love the spacive entrance, wow big beautiful unique mirrored living space, (someone loved looking at themselves 😅) besides the lights, kitchen pretty basic. But clean 😊 I like that they mixed era's, cool! 😲 love that party room "amazing" Hallway made out brick, awwwe, i didn't know you were sick.. **Feel better soon Ethan!** How many living spaces?! Lol yes wallpaper with wood paneling, very sweet! Omgoodness 😍😍😍 Love the staircase, love the railings! Upstairs, not much character except the hall bathroom 🩷, lol you're funny! Master bedroom, i like the double room.. see you're funny and so right 😅! Basement, well the staircase is the best part down there, bar eh, alright Ethan Thank you sir! Get Better, Mr. Sniffles (sincerely)
Excellent location. The master is the way I want mine set up one day (wishful thinking, I'll need an elevator too) if the opportunity ever presents itself. I totally see how beneficially it could be, sometimes it's just nice to watch your show alone or read or crochet - whatever as long as it's peaceful and the cat doesn't decide to lay on the middle of your keyboard or the dog isn't constantly flopping his chew toy on your lap. My kids are older and still at home, everyone is usually in their own rooms and doing their own things (and still create their fair share racket despite the 7 year age gap) so I don't like to be in the big areas alone. It's just lonely and foreboding. I really did like this house. Oh and it would have made a great secondary nursery, if you have a baby that has to be fed every 2 hours via doctor's orders or while you recuperate from c-section or any other types of surgeries that limit your mobility. Enough about that, I was just lovely to see. Most of the time it is a design feature you have to specifically add on when building subdivision homes so to see one is just like Yesss!! I play a bit with decor SIMS interior mostly and you would not believe how many of those materials - tiles, marbles, flooring even furniture is coming back into today's decorating and interior design. We haven't hit the 1800's yet but definitely 80's trends are making a come back. Thank you, for the lovely tour. Stay safe, take care and God bless, always. xoxo💞Kat
I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE!!!!!!! GOOD LEAF, WHAT A WALL, LOL!!!! IT TICS ME OFF, WHEN U SEE A WONDERFUL HOUSE LIKE THAT, AND THEY ARE JUST GOING TO RIP IT DOWN, BUT IT IN THE LANDFILL!!!!! IF I VOLUNTEER, FOR HABITAT FOR HUMANITY, I''D MAKE THESE PEOPLE DONATE IT TO THEM!!!!! IT MAKES ME MAD TOO LOVELY ETHAN!!!!
If I had a house like that, with space like that, the disco ball would have been bigger!! I haven't seen you explore a large amount of houses with a clamshell sink, I know that's a rare find and I love to see it, I wish I could have a home like that 🥺 I LOVE the pink bathroom and I adore that staircase 🥺
I really liked this one. I could definitely live there, as long as I didn’t have to clean the whole thing myself. It’s so huge. I think the cabinets in the basement were recycled from the kitchen. The stove hood with no stove makes me think so. Nice little kitchen right next to the rec room and bar. Room for the snacks and drinks and glasses. A microwave would finish it out nicely.
It's funny Ethan the stuff that you point at and say that's sixties or that's eighties, you've got it backwards on some things. That brown tile Backsplash in the kitchen. is eighties, the ceiling is sixties. Some stuff you're spot on correct about but some stuff you're mixing up decades but all in all the sixties and eighties modern homes have that "industrial look" to them, which is what I like. It's a clean aesthetic look when it's done right.
Hi Ethan I can’t understand why anyone would buy this beautiful house just to demolish it. It has everything a person could want. That huge party room is super cool and I have a thought about the mirrors. Usually when I see a lot of mirrors I think narcissists lived here or maybe ballet dancers like to look at themselves when they dance. That kitchen was huge and I really like the ceiling light. That is so cool. The basement was somewhat creepy. Overall a nice house that should not be demolished. At least this house didn’t stink like the cat lady house. LOL Stay safe and well Ethan and we will see you in the next video. I hope you get over your cold before your birthday.😊👍
YES 🙌 Ethan is On RU-vid 🤗 Much love ❤️ an blessings from San Antonio Texas 😇 I love these Abandoned Mansion's that you do I feel like I'm right there Exploring With You and then I'm like Wait a minute 🤔 I'm watching you from my ipad 🤣 beautiful Place the master looks like exactly like mine 😁
