I to love your soothing voice .I hate the fact people have gone in and vandlized that place .so sad to see. Thx for taking us alone..it once was a home 🏘️..filled with love, laughter and crying .
Hi Mary, it really is a lovely looking house from the outside but such a shame to see the inside like that, I hope one day that someone will do the place up and a new family can move in and enjoy this house once again:)
That funny looking thing on the table wood with the top that screws down is a nut cracker ! To bad you can't really see the house and architecture through all the stuff!
Hi Gaye, im glad you enjoyed the tour, yes your right it was a beautiful looking house, hopefully one day it will get bought by someone and saved from falling down. Thanks for watching
Greetings from Minnesota! I'm new to your channel 😁 Thanks for sharing! This is such an awesome house! These folks sure had a lot of stuff, hoarder's for sure. Lots of cool item's! Keep up the good work!
Agree because I had one exactly like that baby doll pram when I was a young girl. I use to also put my kitties in it after dressing them up. :-) Could this house have been a place like a school for children. There's so many toys and "things" around the floor and rooms. Stare, you're my hero.
I bet this has been a lovely family home at one time, and the kids have moved on, so sad 😞 I bet the parents have been hoarders, the children didn’t want to no. Maybe the wife sadly died. Then the owner lived here on his own them he sadly passed, But there’s one thing I just don’t understand if they still have living children, wouldn’t you want to sort this beautiful house, but this place has defo been ransacked it’s such a shame. This video was amazing I didn’t want it to end. Thanks for sharing and stay safe. Love from Liverpool 🤪
Very cool explore! Im glad you have the nuts to climb over a few missing floor boards and a rotten step or two to film the core of the property so the viewer can get fully immersed. Some of the abandoned house explorers here in the U.S. would scream and run away if there was one rotten step one foot off the ground leaving the viewer wondering what was even in the house! Keep up the good work and I'll be checking out the rest of your videos!
Hey Nack, thanks, i also think its important to try and show the full house, even if its a bit dangerous. Have you watched my Berkyn Manor video yet? Now that place was really scary but well worth the risk, im sure you will like it:) Thanks for watching
Stare not yet but I will jump into it tonight and check it out! Your channel is better than cable TV any day! Looking forward to your next explore! Stay safe my friend!
You guys should have a respirator not only for the lovely toilet shot but also for the black mold just a suggestion. Always put the respirator in sealed plastic bag it saves on buying new filters. Stay safe :)
Sad to see that someone broke the car windows don’t know what they do that. I have dreams of finding a place like that a being able to salvage the those things and get them in the hands of someone who will love and appreciate them.
Hi David, i too would love to see certain things get saved from these kinda places like the antiques and collectables, they just sit there untill they rot otherwise. Thanks for watching
Hello mate ..Victorian Gothic Architecture ..awesome ! ...old pram ..wow ..cars wow ! a child's dolly pram ! In kitchen ..stuff everywhere ..wine ,whiskey no woman no song ..sadly ..am watching till the end ...! For sure ..regards Adrian .& Simon Dorset ...PS have a peek at our bottles and detecting vids some time ? ....thanks for a super super adventure ..! Just awesome !
There was a modern tv box in there and modern toothbrushes though, someone has been using it more recently. Although the sheer amount of toothbrushes was weird
What an amazing house. That place has definitely been torn to bits by copper thieves. I've seen loads of that dimple bottles but never actually seen a full one, that was great to see. Oh yes...watch your step...lol.
I had one of those prams to put my doll into when I was young. It was my pride and joy. What a large plot of land. I so hope developers don’t buy the land and build brick boxes on the land. It could be such a beautiful looking house with lots of money and hard work. Thanks for showing us this.
Many things are good to sell to the tv studios. Others have been there before you and are strewn due to not knowing the value to thing. Lovely video.Tnx. Lots of fun.
Hi Lilliam, yes it was a shame to find the inside so thrown around like that, although it was still nice to find a few interesting things to talk about, I bet it would have looked really good in its days of being cared for by the family:) Thanks for watching
Yeah so much stuff in there, maybe a few generations of family items just left and never thrown away. Whoever buys that place has got a big job clearing it all out:) Thanks for watching
The place where you found the revolver in the attic...it looked to me like it was a 1850 navy colt. You should go back and rescue it because it has historical value, and someone else will eventually find it, perhaps a child who my harm themself. Or it will be lost in ruins when the place collapses. It is an object de art that a collector would love to have...taking it would be saving it, not stealing it.
i would have looked at saving the computer too, That looks like its from the 486 or early Pentium era. You do get people that collect computers of that era, and use them to play games of that era too. HDD would have be removed and destroyed though, due to personal details.
I can't even imagine having that much stuff! I do hope my kids come for it after I'm gone, that's a sad thought. Keep safe. Watch for nails. Looking forward to your next video ❤️🇸🇪
Good to see you two out wandering the countryside looking for an unsuspecting structure that’s virtually embalmed in spiderwebs! I would give a lot to know why this house, which was certainly very beautiful and VERY unusual at some point (and quite likely the subject of many locals’ gossip sessions!), was just left one day! I saw a lot of orange and yellow towels, bedding, etc, which was wildly popular here in America in the 1970’s. Could it have been standing empty for that long?! The house is absolutely ENORMOUS!! Wow! I have a feeling the reason the place was just left one day had something to do with town business-I have no idea why I think that, I just do. Did you do any research on this place? (I’m sure you would’ve, I just had to ask.). I’d like to suck up all the webs and do some serious hunting. The answers to the house being left is in there somewhere! Very unusual situation that. Great explore my friend! Keep doin’ what you do and I’ll watching you do it! ❤🐈
Looks like somebody was a hoarder, but the place has been turned over by people looking for valuables I think, can see with floor boards ripped up. Shame they can't leave things alone 🙄😣
Hi Carol, yes there was loads of stuff in that place including your old pram which was amazing looking. Shame the place has been ransacked as its a beautiful looking old house:) Thanks for watching
I recon its been ransacked for the pipe work and been used for fly tipping for many years. My dad watched the video with me, He recons it could have been used as a private children's hostel at some point, going by the mount of toothbrush's, or something a long those lines. I am very surprised the computer is still there! Looking at it, i would say that it could be a 486 system or maybe a very early Pentium.
Hey, I've come across your channel a few weeks ago, I've been and explored this place, the only thing I was gutted about was not doing the exploring in the day cos I wanted to get pictures of the outside of the house as it was such a stunning place
Hi Natasha, im sorry i dont have any social media channels set up for private messages, its something i really should look into for the future though, thanks for the nudge:) Yes this house really is beautiful to look at especially in the day time, the shape and style of it looks sooooo grand. Thanks for watching
@stare6711 No worries, I was going to ask you if are up for swapping some locations, I've got some time capsule ones as well, if you don't want to I understand, just thought that I would let you know I am a very respectful explorer, I don't like to touch anything when I'm exploring these places unless I'm wearing gloves but even then I still don't like touching anything, my friend does as I keep telling her off for doing it, it's cos she likes to find out more of the history but she does always puts the stuff back, but I still think it should be left alone when exploring, this house has the victorian vibe to it doesn't it, this place is down the road from me, there is another time capsule house down the road from me but there's no access, I do check up on it every now and again but if it's sealed up nothing we can do about it unfortunately, but if it happens to be unsealed I won't mind on giving you the pin for it.
👍 You explore some really great places. It amazes me how many valuable antiques there are in some of those places. You just don't find places like that here in the states.
Hey David, yes it’s nice to see antiques still left in some of these places, such a shame that they have been passed down through the generations and then there is no one else left to pass them on too and they just sit there slowly decaying. . . . . . . . . Thanks for watching
This home would be perfect for artists and crafts people to use and have open days with stalls in the gardens of their art and crafts for sale. Also local trades school apprentices could renovate the home for credit in their courses and this has been done before.💡
Great explore. A quick look up at the Nova and the Ford Scorpio reveals they haven't been taxed since 1998 and 1999 so the place has probably been abandoned for around 20 years or so.
Also the PC is another give away too, that looks like it could be pre Pentium, the system does not have a CDROM drive, just a floppy. CDroms were common on later Pentiums onwards.
Hi Gill, yes i wish there was someway of getting all this abandoned stuff thats still decent from these different houses to charity shops, they would make a fortune:) thanks for watching
Stare Why not hire a van for a day and pick up items that could be taken to Antiques Roadshow, charity shops, museums or sold at Antique markets. Once the rooves cave in, these homes will be bulldozed and subdivided for housing. As one guy said here it is saving valuable items not stealing as these homes have been abandoned for so long.
Would you tell us the area of the mansions you visit please, I'm looking to fix up a large place if it fits into what I'm looking for. Using your videos to help me look.
Thanks for the dates on those cars, I’m guessing that the house also got abandoned around then judging by what was left inside, nothing modern really. I hope someone will one day buy this place and renovate it back to its former glory as it really is a nice design house:) Thanks for watching
The pram on the way in is a Silver Cross Wave child’s pram, dating from the early 50s. The smaller one is a child’s pram, not too sure as it was too quick, I’m gonna check it out. Going back to do screenshot.
The depth of the upper floor beams are large, never seen beams that deep before, they are made to take a lot of weight. Also what is obvious regarding these abandoned properties is the amount of reading the owners did.
Yes your right about all the old properties having loads books, people definately used to read more in those days before ipads and the internet:) Thanks for watching
I tend not to open fridges for obvious reasons and looking at how old the food on the table was I bet it was full inside and about 20 year out of date too🤢
This seems like the "new thing" going into old abandoned hoarder houses and see what you can find, or buy it and fix it up or whatever, lol! Architektur wise it looks like a nice home though but the work in that is gonna be hell.
I once got into a house with several hundred wine bottles in the cellar! Apparently the former owner was an amateur vintner as all the bottles had his name on the label. In total there was probably close to 1000 bottles but quite a few of them were empty and kept on the shelves as decorations I guess. The owner was an architect, like his father, who'd built the place. Either he sold the place or passed away and his widow sold it, at any rate it ended up in the hands of a developer who put something like 6 more houses on the land but did restore the original place. It had only been abandoned for less than five years at that point but it was in a horrible shape, water damage from the cellar to the third floor! I can't say the house was too practical either - bar in the cellar, gigantic sitting room and kitchen on the ground floor, two representation rooms/parlours on the first, two bedrooms and a bathroom on the second and a servant's bedroom on the third.
Yup, that was a spectacular place! Some of the fancier rooms had tapestries instead of wallpaper and all the light switches had glass covers! The bar area was huge, including a built-in fish tank! Oh, and there was a large walk-in fridge in the cellar too! I never really found out whether the basin in front of the house was a huge fish pond or a really shallow pool - it was easily 2x4 m but pushing a stick into the muddy water I hit the bottom only about 80 cm down. It's amazing the concrete basin still held water after all that time, usually they fail even with regular maintenance because the concrete develops hairline cracks that paint/sealer won't close. It's incredibly sad I ran out of batteries taking pictures in there, so I only have a few!
Yes i also wonder what happened to them, i think this place has been abandoned for quite some time. I would have thought that some family member would have done something with the place by now. . . . . .
It's unfortunate that vandals went in there and threw everything everywhere. Alot of black mold and Peeling paint, as well. May be a really good idea to where masks while exploring these dilapidated abandoned places. Considering your health in the near future. It's really difficult to envision how this beautiful house could have been, it's been so vandalized. Unfortunately!!! Why can't these hoodlums just leave things as they are?? Thanks for sharing!!
Hi Tricia, yes i really should wear a mask in those kinda places. Your right this place would have been beautiful before the vandals got in there. Hopefully someone will buy the place and bring it back to its former glory:) Thanks for watching
Ha thanks for that. I do only try and film interesting locations that people might enjoy watching like houses full of stuff, mansions and hospital morgues etc. Glad you enjoyed this one, beautiful old house that id love to see saved and lived in once again:) Thanks for watching
Love this one! Do you think it could possibly have been a children's home? So many toothbrushes and toy!?!? This could explain why all the things were left behind.....if authorities came and took them away because of the conditions they were perhaps living in??! Your mind does want to know, huh!
Hi Elsie, ive never thought of that before, you might be right as like you said why would anyone have 30 toothbrushes in the house otherwise. . . . . . . Thanks for watching
Equally as fascinating but this one has an underlined, sorta haunted element about it. And I don't know why I was drawn to the baby buggy as you were, but doesn't it remind a bit of the buggy Rosemary's Baby was in?
A lot of the web's are just dust webs. It would be nice to know what happened to the family and to see pictures from before it got in this shape. I'd bet it was very gorgeous! I'd say people were are staying out of the weather there from time to time.
I think the housekeeping got away on them a bit. I going to poke out my eyes now ive seen that toilet. LOL The newest thing i saw was a copy of titanic on video. but everything else in the place looks like the mid to late 70s. They look like they never thew anything away just put it up stairs. great video guys
Hi Andrew, yes i think your right, the place has been abandoned for ages, such a shame as it could be a really nice house and grounds:) Thanks for watching
at this time, 27:22, you dont no what that is that you have in your hands,...its a soup, i think you need that after this tusching in all this things...hahahaha!!!
Stare sure is full of stuff, have u been to any of the other locations around that area as there’s a fair few places there, the cassette tapes you came across did you look at them? There all court evidence tapes
Hi Sandra, yes hoarders for sure, so much stuff everywhere, made it tricky to film. Yes who know what happened to the people who lived there, a real mystery? Thanks for watching
Ha ha i dont blame you, 1537 wow, you have saved a real piece of history there as books are one of the first things to get ruined in damp decaying places.
@@stare6711 I wasn't expecting it. I was leafing through the books because it was a favorite place to hide money, but once I opened it to leaf through it was an instant "Whoa whats this" moment, the type was wood block printed. I could use a lil of that kind of luck again.
