I think eventually you'll bring back that two door Hudson, and another one for parts. Then you could have it painted "Hutson," to honor the now deceased owner. That could then become another T-shirt.

Oh man! You're tearing my guts out. I love Hudsons and the is guy is sitting on a ton of them. If he'd have been smart, he'd have been selling them off instead of letting them rot away. If I wasn't so old, I'd be trying to buy a couple of them. My heart is breaking.

The diesel Lynx is intriguing. 80s stuff has been passed over but they are the up and coming collector cars. Best part about it is that since the fuel is oil it won't spoil the system the way gasoline does

Definitely like the history on these old vehicles it's always nice to get a an idea on why these vehicles were parked even cooler is seeing being preserved and enjoyed. Seeing these vehicles really preserved and untouched. I hope there's a 2nd video of you guys picking up the rest of the vehicles I can't wait.

I live in southern Ky and still run up on old treasures I have actually bought a few old trucks that were barn parked when the land or farm was purchased.. I bought a 59 sports fury with a 413 cross ram wedge engine factory 2- 4 barrels , looks like the car Christen in the Stephen king movie...lol

$1200 was a heck of a deal. That Step van and Econoline themselves are worth a bunch more than $1200 easily. Even if that Econoline is a rust bucket certain parts could be worth a bunch more themselves. Great Deal

I don't know what you two do to find it or how you do it but I am Impressed! I am not sure how old your Father is but I am no spring chicken myself and I am just now seeing in my mind when I was a young man I remember a man who had a garage by my childhood home who had a couple of Hudsons and a couple of Nash vehicles he worked on and drove a early 50's Hudson for a daily driver. You are able to impress a older man who remembered when things were cheap and easy to work on and the roads were empty and the people had enormous amounts of freedom still. We didn't have a great amount of money but we were happy and healthy, didn't have a worry about anything after the bills were paid and you better have had your shopping done by 5-6 at the big stores on Fridays or you were not getting it until Monday morning at 7 am. There was a Mom and Pops store on every corner and you didn't have to go far to drive or walk to get stuff you needed. God bless you two and I say keep up with the work you do and enjoy. I remember you could get a car that was blown up like that as a roller for less than a 150 and parts like a motor and transmission were about the same price. Car fixed and drove for a few years 2-5 for 300-700 dollars and that we thought was expensive. Gas was a 75 cents a gallon for hi-test leaded gas. Was almost a couple three life times a go. California delight and a trip to Fort Lauderdale in a 67 Oldsmobile 98 with a 425 and 400 turbo with Thermo King A/C under the dash priceless! Watching, liking, and sharing!!!!

Hudson hornet revival? I would guess with trans fluid in each cylinder a boat tank system and bat tray intake cleaner the flat head hudson is pretty rare in would probably run good.

I had a 1948 Hudson. Had cork clutches. Great riding autos. Not tin cans on wheels like today. They stopped, fuel pump, coil, points. Carb easy to fix. Today $100.00 to check. Computer junk. 85 now. 🐻
