Read “The voices from Chernobyl”. I fell in love with this place and was obsessed with knowing everything about it. I read and watched everything I could. Studies about the wildlife and the plants since the explosion. There is even old homesteaders that still live in the zone.

You know what I liked about this video? That you showed us things that I've never seen before. I loved all the dogs n the guide with lots of info. Going inside the reactor 4 was amazing. Such an amazing explore. Thank you Steve for risking yourself to share this with all of us. After this disaster, I never really thought about what was left behind. I also never really thought that people lived on site either. Wow! I love all the dogs too, but I worry about how much radiation they are absorbing. They might be strays, but on the plus side they look very well fed. Hopefully when you get back in the States, you will go to your doctor to make sure you didn't absorbe too much radiation. Stay safe and Thank You for sharing always. You are one of my favorite explorers. Take care.

The Three Mile Island accident in Pennsylvania was a partial meltdown of reactor number 2 of Three Mile Island Nuclear Generating Station (TMI-2) in Dauphin County, near Harrisburg, and subsequent radiation leak that occurred on March 28, 1979. It was about 35-45 miles from where I lived. We also lived in an area where RADON was rntering our home from underground. It was leaking from the rock deep below the ground. We had to have remediation do to vent it out of the house. I always wonder how it afected out lungs...long term.

It's scary that I live a couple of mile from our Nuclear power plant in England, Cumbria. We had a fire some years ago and many blame it for the amount of cancer locally. Lots of stories about it from friends and farmers having throw milk away. So much safety now but we do hear of things that go on. We always say if it goes up we won't know anything about it. That's why I have a interest in Chernobyl, it's amazing. It's a shame it happened a fine case of money before peoples safety. Great video Steve, thankyou 💖
