If you are exploring Aberdeen then you must visit Stonehaven. Why ? well according to the Lonely Planet Guide it is home to "one of the worlds most memorable food experiences" Fish and Chips from the Bay Fish and Chips Shop.
If that isnt enough for any fish and chip officiando Stonehaven is also the home or should I say birthplace to the deep fried Mars Bar.
Not only that on the day I visited I got to enjoy one of the most beautiful costal walks in the UK. Blue skies, stunning scenery and a world class fish supper at the end. What more could anyone ask for.
