La Porta dei Parchi is definitely worth a visit when you are in the area. Nunzio is a fantastic host and such a wonderful person and his cheeses are exquisite. We do offer this itinerary as a day trip for those who either need transport or are happy to drive convoy in their own vehicles. Those narrow windy roads take some negotiation! Of course you are an Abruzzese who travels around the region a lot anyway, so I'm sure you've already been to these places, probably on your motorbike! Must be amazing to take those windy roads on two wheels! 😍

@@sladdengobros1081 Oh yes, much more affordable. Authentic Italy. Not much has changed. Very different to Tuscany. We are 45 mins from ski resorts (there's plenty here, including Italy's 5th largest, Roccaraso), and 45 mins from the Adriatic coast which is so wonderfully warm and like relaxing in a giant bathtub! Cost of living is much more affordable down here still, the people are incredibly friendly, the food and wine is, in our opinion the most delicious of all regions!
