I lived in Abu Dhabi for 18 months while I taught at an International School. I am from Michigan in the USA. This was such an AWESOME place to live! SO multi-cultural and yet so relaxed and friendly and safe. I miss it all the time. Thank you for helping me reminisce. I lived there from 2014-2015.

Gabes! Glad to see you in Abu Dhabi. Please do visit the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum , Yas Island , Grand Prix Track , Emirates Palace and Ferrari World .. Those are the main attraction over here , it's totally not worth missing them since you're in Abu Dhabi. Emirates Palace is definitely one you shouldn't miss!

Al Zayed Mosque is awesome, for sure, esp. at night time. All these mind blowing lamps inside the mosque are Swarowski's (Austrian company) real crystals❤️❤️❤️, normally they produce fake ones...And, yes, go Muscat: oriental vibes at its best. With super high hotel standards. Swiss National cyclists do their training there: most beautiful mountain area, perfect streets and best hotels: Oman❤️

wow and wow.beautifully done.i am glad people are loving this video.very well made .the camera work is on a new level now and the grandeur of the mosque was shot beautifully. though i think you should have used both cameras in the same setting to see for yourself which footage came best..kudos.for the cultural insight

Thanks. I actually did use both cameras in this video. From 4:22 to 7:15 was filmed with the Sony, the rest was filmed with the GoPro.

Apu Simpson people prays there. At prayer time tourists will go out. So the place cannot be dirty.thats why they insist on removing shoes.

Taj was built in 1650s and this just 10 yrs ago, 350 yrs difference, in that time UAE people were very poor, didn't have enough water & food, many came to india.

Thanks. This was filmed with my two new cameras, both my Sony a5100 and GoPro Hero 6. Most of it was filmed with the GoPro though, it's doing a much better job.

I went at to Abu Dhabi last month and visited this mosque.. Seems like a lot of things have changed. But it seems it was more free before, you can just walk on the huge open area and you can enter the actual mosque. I don't remember taking my shoes off during the walk but I couldn't enter the carpeted mosque, they didn't allow anyone.

I think that area is less crowded because it's away from the downtown area. In my other video about getting lost in Abu Dhabi there were a lot more people on the streets.

Your videos are awesome ....you need a smaller camera so you can film without drawing a lot of attention to yourself and also you need to pack light for the back packing you do...carrying around a ton of camera equipment can not be the best way to travel to remote parts of the world ...thanks for unloading really enjoyed both cameras

I would have to give the edge to the gopro, but it's a bit like comparing apples and oranges... The Sony could still serve a purpose depending on your mood and the kind of video you want to make...but if you don't want it, I'll take it 😜

I wonder if citizens from Saudi Arabia, Oman can freely cross the borders to the United Arab Emirates and vice versa, sort of like German, Dutch and French, etc can because of the European union.

Uchiha Sasuke its almost similar to the EU. Free travel between the countries of GCC. They can also work anywhere.

Kath Casey Only when maintained. Most are not, just like public hot tubs. It's a major job to keep water bacteria free when you have people's feces (not a turd) and urine mixed in there. Gross.
