The white walls on eeltail alley are accordeon walls. They fold in when a turf war isnt happening so people can pass

Cool detail in Scorch Gorge. Each of the spawns still has an older model of spawn points, just covered up in a tarp. Seems like turf wars were being held here before the invention of spawned drones. Also, those big rock formations in Scorch Gorge are actually extinct hydrothermal vents. Scorch gorge used to be deep underwater before the tides began to change. The Japanese name for the stage alludes to this with the name Yunohana Crab Gorge, yunohana being a sediment found in empty hot springs.

It’s rlly cool that in Mahi Mahi that there’s a little story going on wit the Jellys getting married and celebrating their kid’s bday. (If it’s true but I’m pretty sure it is) Hope the story continues in the next future games

Mahi Mahi will forever stay in Splat1 to me. I love that they're doing Stage Overhauls now, but they really masacred Mahi Mahi, and Hammerhead makes sense, but I wish they kept some grate bridges. Edit: Also, the Missing Statues in Adelfonsino are actually still in the game, and they were even in Splat2! They can be found broken apart in Inkblot Art Academy.

The train in eeltail ally and hagglefish market probably connects to the railway in anarchy avenue as we see the same train and rail above the avenue and there is a station near the lobby

Love the new backgrounds for the splatoon one stages However I still think they’re more fun to play on in splatoon one. Museums pullers spin faster and there’s a bigger section to fall Mahi mahi resort used to be WAYY bigger with way more places to parkour and overall more fun Hammerhead bridge used to have to sections and was fun TK strategize om

Mincemeat Metalworks looks like it’s just little ways off from Shifting Sand Land from Super Mario 64. Dude, I would shout in excitement if the devs implemented a map setting from Mario 64! Just imagine gazing upon Mincemeat Metalworks at the distance, the top part of the Pyramid destroyed after the pillar puzzle, the rolling blocks moving around, Klepto (the big bird) flying around (don’t worry, it only wants Mario’s hat, not yours), and the twisters coming out of the pits!

19:10 That “giant hill” is actually Mt. Fuji! Mt. Fuji is a real volcano on the southern outskirts of Tokyo, and in the Splatoon world, all the cities and stuff take place in what is presumably Japan in tens of thousands of years. Canonically, Mt Fuji is now an extinct volcano. I think it’s where The Crater is located, and Alterna is underneath it - But im not sure exactly

Also a change I’ve heard someone say before is that the prices in MakoMart increased in the Splatoon 3 map. And that the railway connects to multiple (if not all) stages and to Inkopolis Plaza & Splatsville. Though I’m not 100% on the latter one.

I don't think Hagglefish Market is near Port Mackerel or Sturgeon Shipyard. According to the Direct, Hagglefish Market is in the Splatlands, whereas the other two stages are implicitly in the Greater Inkopolis region, on the far side of Inkopolis Bay around 80 km to the east.
