omg i love you guys! you should plan a trip to Milledgeville Ga and check out Central State Hospital. Lunatic Asylum and tons of stories! A friend and I have been there and that place is huge. Research it. over 30,000 people are buried throughout the grounds. The Place is super cool and creepy. You have to have permission to go inside the building, there are 200 of them. If ya do come, please contact me...My friend and i would love to come along! We would love to investigate w ya'll....We are planning our next trip this coming weekend! Thanks!!!!

It's a real shame that the live audio/video feeds at OSPH came to an abrupt end a few years ago. The EVP that came through it was insane. I listened for thousands of hours and it was very addictive. I could hear a grumpy old guy complaining on the 3rd floor pretty much most mornings, very early - and there was nobody there when the previous caretaker went to check it out. As I watched online, the voices would stop as he went in and would start right back up when he left. The EVP at OSPH is extreme and it's easier to capture it than not in my opinion. Most people don't hear the obvious because they don't listen carefully to the audio. It isn't always as obvious as regular speech. Much of it is long strained whispers or very quick responses in between people talking but there is one who follows people around and his voice is super scratchy like listening to a mishandled mic - but when you get used to it, you can hear him speaking in English. I even heard a little girl ask for some pizza one night when an investigator said she might bring some for the kids. I was never disappointed with OSPH - until the A/V was cut. ):

Confederate soldiers killed some Union soldiers and Cherokee? More revisionist history? The Cherokee provides infantry and mounted troopers for the Confederacy. When Georgia became the forth state of the United States the Creeks and Cherokee had more slaves than the white population of the state. The curse was on that part of southeastern Tennessee and north Georgia before the Cherokee. When the Shawnee and Creek and every other southeastern tribe fought for and tried to hunt that area. Some parts it was forbidden for anyone to enter because of "the curse" To the south is Chickamauga and was named "River of Death" to the Cherokee and the Creeks used the area for a resting place for their chiefs at one time. One of the first hauntings I heard about from that part of Tennessee was the haunting of new middle school that was built. The construction superintendent and His job foreman/brother talked about that job sometime. They did not like each other, but one of the two had to be first on the job early in the morning. Both had got scared crapless several times while opening up alone. Then they started going to the job together. They claimed they had their mother go to open up a couple of time, and she would walk around read the King James and always finished with prayers.
