You seem to be starting the Illinois trip off well! It seems nursing homes are frequently caught up in some kind of scandal. Glad this one went off with no issues for you. The sticky pads on the window are to protect it in shipping, or something similar. They come on new windows, and are sticky only on one side
I remember hearing in 2010-2011 skilled nursing facilites closing wards for federal/state-funded mental care services; causing them to scramble to find other housing locations for clients. I hope some can be rehabbed to provide temporary shelter for homeless populations, or treatment centers; as these facilities have the perfect layout.

Anyway, I subscribed because he said you were based out of Kansas City,KS/ Mo. that’s where I’m from do you still do urbex from those areas? You should go to the old Westhaven motel & restaurant in Kansas City, KS on about 55th & State Ave (40 highway).

I hope you go back to the Kansas City metro area soon, of course it can be very dangerous. I used to really be into urbex channels & went to the old motel & restaurant I told you about & looked around. I’m always shocked by how much stuff they leave. It was sentimental because we used to eat there when I was a kid. I wonder if it’s even still there? I’m old I’ll be 57 May 1st!
